Here's a really good showdown of two classes that do not appear in the Tier List for classes. (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=5256.0) Consider this both for PvP and for PvDM. Which class beats the other, and which class beats the game better than the other (assuming they both have the same challenge.)
Unlike the Barbarian vs Wizard (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?367134-Little-Cup-Showdown-The-Barbarian-VS-The-Wizard&highlight=%5BLittle+Cup+Showdown%5D) thread, this one will take both classes and try to have them prove their utility against a heavy-dragon campaign (for which they are suited), at levels 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th and 20th. With no fixes (such as giving Knowledge: Arcana to the DS), nor erratas.

That being said, which class is better at which level?

Level 5th
Level 10th
Level 15th
Level 20th

Edit: That should do it then?

DFA is basically what Dragon Shaman wishes it was. Breath Weapon is categorically better, Invocations are great and much better timed, and they get more dragonlike faster.

Meanwhile DS gets...Auras. Which, while good, are pretty mediocre and can be gotten with a feat.

Also, DFA enables a Warforged with grafted Maug Rollers functioning as a flamethrower tank. Does DS have an answer to this?
