Are you a fan of characters having their own story, with rare occurances of a crossover or two when necessary?

Or do you prefer stories with encompass several/most/all of the charcaters across their individual series (Secret Wars, Infinity Gauntlet, Onslaught, Civil War).

I have no problem with either as long as the crossovers have a reason and its not just an excuses to have a bunch of super heros together for no other reason then "that would be cool if". THere have been too many corssovers that started that way and just have had been bad.

I think crossovers are often quite entertaining...but only if you don't have to get 20 issues from 7 different comics to get the whole story.

I'm a "Pulp Fiction" type. I like it when every character is unrelated in their goals, and don't know each other, but they CONSTANTLY intersect without totally realizing it.

I prefer single stories unless the big crossover actually has some point beyond being a cash cow for the publisher, as most of them are.

Technically, it's all a big cash cow :D

I dislike most Marvel big crossovers for some reason. They seem too forced to me, and way too frequent. Every year?!

Oh I love crossovers.
