I had read somewhere that you purchase an item with circumstance bonuses, unless you had an artificer make the item. How does that work? I know the artificer and change the bonus type of an item with infusions, but that is 10 minutes/level, no? Would you have an item created, modified by the artificer, and then cast permanency on it to keep the bonus a circumstance bonus?
