[Raistlin1040]

Introducing to you, the latest copy incarnation of Werewolf. This game is set in midieval times. You will be peasants, nobles, kings, and rebels.

The roles:

King (Or Queen) (Baner) – The King (Or Queen) has the ability to send the royal guard to watch over a person, protecting them from a rebel attack.

Court advisor (Seer) – Each night the Court Advisor can check the census and see a person's role.

The Knights (Masons) – The knights are fearless warriors that have fought side by side for years. They are given a list of other Knights.

Heretic (Devil) – The Heretic can look deep into a person's soul using his dark magic and see their role.

The Prince and his Bride (Lovers) – They win if both are left alive at the end of the game. They cannot live without each other and if one dies, the other dies as well.

Jester (Fool) – Is so mad he believes the King trusted him with the census. Believes he’s the Court Advisor, checks imaginary census each night. Results randomly determined.

Sir Lancelot (Alpha) – Sir Lancelot gets to choose his team of Rebels. When Scried looks like a peasant

Rebels (Werewolf)- The rebels are terrible, hateful people that will only get a kick out of toppling the kingdom.

Peasant(Villagers) – Regular people.

As with other Werewolf games, days will last 48 hours, nights 24. Each day everyone will point at another person whom they suspect of being a rebel. That person will be beheaded. Each night the rebels will PM me about who they want to be killled. Anytime a person dies there will be a revealing article to show their role. Days will end early if a person receives the votes of more than 50% of the people still alive. Failing to vote for two days in a row will be cause for suspicion and you will be beheaded. Days not lasting the full 48 hours do not count for auto-beheading.

I already said that thing about King and Queen...but shouldn't the peasants be nobles/upper class? Rebellion stems from usually the lower and middle classes...it doesn't make sense that they'd be slaughtering their potential support base.

Also, currently, the king's ability seems to work better as a veto of whoever the mob (daytime behavior) picks to be executed, not a potential salvation of the person the rebels planned on assassinating. Perhaps it should be something like "The king emperor sends royal imperial guardsmen to watch over X noble, protecting them from threats during the night" or something like that. This is still your game, of course, but I'm a stickler for storyline. :P

EDIT: You know what? I'll just pretend it's called Kingdom before I try and rename every one of the roles. Sorry if I'm stealing your thunder!

Why do I get the feeling I'll end up with the same role I've gotten in the last few games I've played? After all, every time I've entered a new game, I've gotten the same role, more or less. But when It comes to the second edition, That doesn't happen. WWII - Mason, WWIV - Wolf, WWV - Villager, WWCII - Villager, WWC2 - Wolf. Mafia I - Mafia. Pattern keeps repeating like that.

Day Begins
Dawn breaks and you all come out to begin your morning chores and trade goods as peasants often do. However, when one peasant went out to his field, he noticed something rather odd with his scarecrow. It seemed to sag off the pole. He took it off and cut it open, expecting some hooligan had stuffed it with rocks. Wheat he found instead, was the body of Raistlin. He has deep knife cuts and a dagger stuck in his throat. Underneath his battered body was a note written in elegant handwriting

Alas, poor Raistlin is dead. As will the reighning monarch and his loyal subject shall soon be. You may want to watch yourself, peasants. You will all feel my vengeance.

Sir Lancelot.

Let the day begin. Night will fall in 48 hours on 10 PM on Sunday GMT or when a player has 50% of the votes.

Castaras stands near the back of the crowd, watching the crowd gather. She sighs.

Miatog looks the note over and tosses it back on the body. “A Rebellion? Is Lancelot mad?”

He turns to face the crowd. “How can we trust someone that plans on coming to power through the shadows?! I for one will not stand it, we must weed out all who would ally with Lancelot and send them to the fiery pits of hell!”

[Warpfire]

The illithid walks over to the gathering crowd, and makes his way close enough to get a look at the body.
"Now who could this Lancelot individual be..."

Castaras sighs, eyes looking round the crowds.

Anyone have an idea who did this?

Whoa there, Miatog. Let's not jump around and get a bunch of innocent people killed with red scare tactics...

What do we know about this "Sir Lancelot"? He killed Raistlin...why? Did Raistlin know something about him? Were they old enemies? I propose we search Raistlin's residence and see if we can find a clue on who these murderers are before we jump at each other's throats.

Castaras glances at Magtok.

“That sounds like a plan Cobra. I did not mean to sound like we should start killing at random, but I still say that Lancelot and his allies should be sent to play with the demons.”

Miatog sees the man going through Raistlin’s pockets. “Hey old man, show some respect for the dead!”

[Castaras]

Castaras sighs.

I'm not sure what we should do, but I guess the best thing we can do at the moment is try and get initial reactions from people. It's the least we can do.

She turns to Cobra Ikari.

You. Are you a rebel?

[B-Man]

Well, this is tragic. At least we know the perpetrator's alias. I, Crystal, vow to catch these rebels.

Crystal rummages in a pocket and produces a pipe and some tobacco. She lights the contents of her pipe and puffs away.

[Miatog]

Gives Castaras a ‘wtf’ look. “You don’t really expect anyone to answer yes to that do you? If they were to answer so straight forward as that then the Royal Guard would just ask everyone and be done with it.”

[Castaras]

It's the facial reactions. You can often tell who is lying and who is not.

She looks round the crowd.

Ikari blinks and looks at Castaras.

Xaspian murmurs from the back of the crowd.

What is this new danger to our fair land? These are dire times, if such a crime can be commited in our midst.

He smiles a bit scarily and touches his sword.

Warpfire listens to and watches the events transpiring around him silently.

Castaras turns to the silent Warpfire.

Hmmm.. Vell dey weren't mugging him for his loose change I can tell you that much. *looks at photo* Whooo now dis is quality craftsmanship. You have to get very small brushes to put this much detail in. See how real the nipples look? That's quality.

Now what the hell are these things? Oooh Lye sticks! You can't find these anymore. *graws one open as best he can, dumps a bit in his hand and spits it out* Ptooey! Bleck! There's sugar in these things! What!? You want I should slip into a diabetic coma? *tosses pixie stix over shoulder*

You kids these days with your sugar and your toilet paper. Feh!

[Miatog]

That ‘wtf’ look Miatog gave Castaras, make it about 5 times more ‘wtf’ and directed at the old man. “Are you drunk old man?”

[Lord Magtok]

“Is it the candy Pixie Stick or does it have something to do with a Pixie?”

Now who among us might be a pixie?

*Starts eying the others suspiciously again.*

Rebel(s), if you show yourself, we may decide to give you a quick and painless death. If not, I'm sure this Cobra fellow would be more than happy to impale you upon his blade. :smallannoyed:

A look of confusion crosses Xaspian's face.

Warpfire turns to Castaras. "Because there is nothing to say."

This Lancelot fellow could very well be a pixie, correct? I think it sounds logical enough. Raistlin went to buy some of this pixie stuff, and sometime after purchasing it, he was killed.

We know of one of his last actions in this world, and pixies are our only lead for now. Unless you have any brighter ideas?

El Jaspero strides through the fields, two buckets of water in his hands. He looks at the gathering crowd with mild amusement. "Sir Lancelot? I thought he was some sort of hero. Not that a farmhand like me would know anything about that." He shoulders his burden and trudges off in the direction of one of the larger farmhouses.

[Miatog]

“It is a distinction I felt needed to be made. If it was say powered pixies, then you don’t go to a candy store.”

Xaspian shakes his head grimly at Magtok.

I'm afraid not. I have said everything that I can think of that might aid us. To be honest, I don't believe I've ever even seen the pixies before.

*slips out of the farmhouse perfectly timed to intercept El Jaspero*
"Farmboy, is that all the water? Go get some more."

She glances out toward the fields as he turns away. "Oh and farmboy...What's going on over there?"

*a young girl with a guard badge attempts to move through he crowd*

Let's see then...seems serious...a man-eating scarecrow sliced in half....and let's not forget about the other guy, yeah...he seems to have been dead before he was eaten...

Can anyone give some more information? the rest of the guard should be here shortly, but untill then, i'm taking care of this....crud, this wasn't on the manual...

El Jaspero carefully sets the buckets down. "Some sort of disturbance in the neighbor's field, Miss. It appears Sir Lancelot has turned against us." He picks up another brace of buckets. "More water, of course. As you wish." He smiles and nods his head, then heads back to the river.

[Ms_Elaneous]

A strangely large rodent sneaks into the group. She hisses a little as she sniffs at the dead body. She then tries to take ahold of his arm with her jaw and drag him off, possibly to throw him into the conveniently located quick sand as burial.

The rest rush over to see that Gnome Barbarian has been brutally killed. His head is mounted on a pike and his body lies next to it. Another note is found.

So sorry gents. Couldn't have him ruining our plans. If it's any consolation, he wasn't anyone important. Just a peasant.

The shadow user comes out of the Raistlin’s house when he hears the commotion. “This is becoming more and more troublesome. It seems that the rebels are only killing those that are getting in the way of their plans though…which means I need to be careful.” He puts a hand on his head as he sighs. “How did things get so troublesome?”

He walks back in Raistlin’s house, hoping to find clues.

"Hmmm. Let's see. If we are to deduce the identities of these foul rebels, then we must begin the search within the ranks of those that wished to see poor Goblin Music (rest his soul) dead. I will be keeping a keen eye on these people. You know who you are!"
Shadow scans the crowd, making eye contact with those responsible for GM's murder at the hands of the town. Showing no fear he holds each gaze for a moment.
"As the gracefull furry Llama has pointed out, I thought Warpfire to be a bit suspicious. But he is not the only one. Max(Trog) told us all a tale of how horribly things went for his cousin when he 'talked red' once. Max(Trog) warned us of 'talking red.' Then he did exactly what he warned us not to do the very next moment by accusing poor Goblin Music even after he had pleaded for his life. For this I will be keeping a very close watch on your actions my good man. I haven't enough evidence to damn you yet, but I suspect that I will before long, old man."

"Have fun stormin' the castle, indeed...."

Lady Castaras looks over to Warpfire, thinking hard.

I'm not really sure, my friends. He seems like your run-of-the-mill people, not a rebel. But looks can be decieving.

She bows her head and steps back.

For the moment, I am not going to point. I would rather see what everyone else has to say before I point.

[Warpfire]

Warpfire looks around as people begin to discuss who to point at today. The illithid hears his name mentioned a few times, but just shakes his head and decides not to say anything.

"I must agree with Lady Castaras on the pointing. I would also like to see what more people have to say before making an accusation."

(So shadow admits his evidence wasn't what I thought it was. Hmmmm... I'll stop pointing at Warpfire. After all, its his first game, so he's probably not really used to it and not a likely candidate for Lancelot's pick.

Bah, the first few days can be the worst, or the best depending on how things go. I see a lot of unknowns out there. Sooo many variables its great. I wonder how quickly it takes me to be put on a list in this game. I didn't do anything in day 1, so I wager by day 4 someone will have a list with my name on it. Makes me shiver in antici......pation. Oh wait, wrong movie.

So day 2 is going to be a waiting day. Now everyone is scared to post a theory. Bugger!)

ROUS? We've got ROUS now? Since when is this a problem? When I vas a boy we kept them as pets! My father god rest his soul... the bastard... he had bears when he was young. (I think y'all are wrong about Lucky. And I think Joosbawx is actually a very good candidate for a rebel. He's also a very good player, and usually overlooked in alpha games, so less suspicious. Kyrian may be pointing at him at random, but I'm really not.)
