It finally happened.
Here's a big fat picture dump for everyone.

I used double sided tape to hold my phone in there, and read my affirmation from there.

My lady had a book holster as well, but no photos I have currently show it very well.

Our affirmations to one another.

My affirmation to Lisa Brown:
"The word I use the most to describe you, Lisa, is Adorable. Most people think I am calling you cute. But what I mean is that you are someone who is easily adored, easily loved. You are loved so much and by so many. And that you would chose to give me your love is the greatest gift, the greatest honour of my life.
My love for you is the greatest adventure of my life.
I want to give you my love and share in your adventure, for the rest of my days.
I will follow you anywhere,
From tragedy to triumph,
From sorrow to joy,
From fools errand to epic journey,
There and back again,
From one legend to another,
And everything in between.
You are my greatest adventure."

Lisa's affirmation to me:

"There's a lot of things you need to get through life. A home to live in, the curiosity to discover the world around you, a thirst for knowledge, the sheer will to persevere against all odds.

You know the thing you need most of all? You need a hand to hold.

I can't promise you that life will always be fun and sunny.
I'm fickle and indecicive, it will drive you mad but only some of the time.

What I can promise is to always join you on your adventures. We will run. We will soar the skies and challenge storms together.

I will always hold your hand because you have always held mine."

Sorry if anyone can't see photos due to them being posted on facebook.

*proceeds to blow nose into pancake*

I'll have to keep steal that line on adorability though, 'cause that's exactly how like, everyone sees my girlfriend. I just get to see more than the tip of the adorable ice berg, sort of speak.

Our music selection was very ecclectic.
Originally, we wanted the Ducktails Moon Base Theme (orchestral remix by Plasma Music), but instead we went with Hoy! Small Fry! which is a remix of one of the songs from Legend of Zelda, Windwaker, by OC Remix. Which we also used for our last dance of the night.

Our first dance, we really wanted something of a surprise for everyone. We went with two versions of Song of Storms from Legend of Zelda, and added in some thunder sound effects for the transitions. Video will be posted as soon as our videographer gets back to us. He's an editor for the local TV news station, and he's also working on a video for kickstarter for someone, once that's handled we should be next.

And for our exit for the evening, we used the 11th Doctor Theme, with some voice quotes from the show. It worked out pretty well actually.
We pointed our Sonic Screwdrivers at our Lantern, we made up some stuff about fixed points in time, everyone in the room activated their sonic's, and the music started, with the sound of the TARDIS landing. So we got to banter a bit with the Doctor, said our goodbyes, and then ran out of the room and hid in the conservatory while people slowly filtered out.
Our wedding theme was adventure, we got to end ours with a solid kickoff to a new adventure.

Also, we have a pair of photoshoots planned in spring. One at the Royal Tyrell Museum (the dinosaur museum) and one down at the Bow Valley Ranch which is a heritage house (well over a century old) which they turned into a restaurant. They have lovely gardens there, so we're going to take everyone for a thank-you brunch and get some more photos there as well as in the surrounding parkland.

EDIT:
Our friends were asking about our cake for ages before the wedding. I told them it was "Top Secret" but I don't think any of them were prepared for what we brought that day.
Also, the Calgary Zoo catering put out so many desserts. I counted 10 different items, little cakes, tarts, panacotta, and a huge fruit tray. Had we known that their 'assortment of desserts and pasteries' would be so vast, we might have skipped the cupcake tower.

So what was the cake?

Edit: I failed my spot check.
