I need some advice/suggestions as to what character to play in an upcoming tabletop game.
Character will be a once-minion of a previous character.
Game is 3.x Spelljammer using Polyhedron #151 and Spelljammer: Beyond the Moons (http://www.spelljammer.org/) material.
3rd level (expected to go epic), level adjust buyoff allowed. PF & Dragon/Dungeon material allowed. 3rd Party allowed with permission.
Don't know what class I'm going for but I prefer casters and rogues. Was thinking maybe Sorcerer.
Game will start in Eberron but backstory is in Faerun.
Am going to play one of the following options, just can't decide which one.
- Awaken Construct (SC), Permanent (srd), Animated Object (srd), Obdurium (SBG) winged statue (tiny, small, or medium; LA unknown)
- Incarnate Construct (SS), Permanent, Animated Object, Obdurium winged statue (tiny, small, or medium; LA unknown)
- Awaken Sand (Sa), Shapesand (Sa) (huge, LA unknown)
- Incarnate Construct, Awaken Sand, Shapesand (huge, LA unknown)
- Awaken Construct, Effigy (CAr), Gnome (srd) (homebrew LA+1)
- Awaken Construct, Effigy, Human (srd) (homebrew LA+1)
- Minor Servitor (SS), Obdurium, winged statue (tiny, small, or medium; LA unknown)
- Incarnate Construct, Minor Servitor, winged statue (tiny, small, or medium; LA unknown)
- Minor Servitor, Shapesand (tiny, small, or medium; LA unknown)
- Incarnate Construct, Minor Servitor, Shapesand (tiny, small, or medium; LA unknown)
Edit: Replacing every instance of Awaken Construct with Sacred Guardian (BoK) works too.
Current backstory ideas make the Incarnate Construct idea unwieldy as the character is supposed to be kidnapped by a Spelljamming Lich.
Thoughts and ideas welcome. DM permission already gotten. All of the above creatures are already established in the gameworld as free beings and citizens of their home nation, which they were instrumental in saving.
I'm also having trouble naming the character if anyone's feeling particularly creative.
