Hi all,

I do not quite follow the comunity, but I tought that work I did could be of help to every player.

For my LAZY players, I created an excel file containing a database of all the 5th edition spells; every entry is tagged with level, class, ritual option, along with a short description of the spell's effects.
Filters are in place to help you sort out the spells you need for your PC.

I hope you find it useful..
Any suggestion is welcome!

Thanks! I was gonna get started on creating such a thing this weekend, so it's nice that it already exists!

One small suggestion: you might add a column for page numbers, to make it easier to look up the full description.

Its great you like it!
Page numbers is a good idea: I'll try to manage some time to add them.

Nice job! One comment, though: Aid's spell description is repeated twenty-three times in its cell. :smalltongue:

Very useful thanks. I find it annoying to look through spells in the PHB; I either get a class with a list of their spells and nothing else, or an alphabetical list of spells that doesn't say what class can use the spell.

Yeah the spell section of the book is an absolute mess. It is much easier with a PDF - you can link back and forth with the click of a button. It is just annoying that Wizards seems to be making people do the work themselves by refusing to release the book on PDF, instead of cashing in on the convenience.

that's a pretty awesome list. One thing I am missing is to be able to see a list of spells by damage type - so I may just have to do this myself.
