Vampires are hurt by sunlight, so they'd want a place that's low on sunlight.
Britain has a lot of cloudy days, and is thus low on sunlight.
∴ All the vampires moved to Britain to avoid the sun.

They don't serve it warm. Most good beer is supposed to be served around cellar temperature (14C ish, it depends on the style, really). In America, Anheuser-Busch has cultivated the culture of the ice-cold beer because the colder a beer is, the more the flavour is masked. So they are able to get away with selling low quality beer that uses cheap ingredients.

As ever with a cyberthread thread, I was not disappointed. Well done and thanks for the link, cyberthread.

Good god man, come to Oregon. There's a reason we're known as Hop Valley. Best beer in the nation, possibly the world.

I've spent time in Wisconsin. I know there are good American beers. The point is that the big name brands are generally bland and before the big microbrewery fad really took flight (and they don't really make it over here anyway) the general European impression of American beer was not exactly favorable. I stole the joke from MP when they made it in '82.
