Hey all just one simple question: your spell casting attribute only affects how hard saves vs your spells are and how many different spells you can choose from when you use your slots? And does not affect how many slots you have like it did in 3.5?

Spellcasting stat only affects save dc and attack rolls with some spells.

EDIT: whoops forgot about prepared casters. In which case it affects the number of spells that you can prepare each day.

It also is used for some effects keying off of spells (like certain healing spells gaining a bonus dependent on your spellcasting stat).
