This spell brings into being an invisible nanny that manifests when the caster has something better to do than look after the child. the child is fed and looked after, growing faster than normal. the caster must be careful to not look for or mention the child, lest the free childcare suddenly be dispelled.

this spell isn't really meant to be taken seriously. the spell was inspired by an interesting dilemma that seems to be found in Deepforests soaps. Any child under the age of 14 seems to not really be seen unless their parent is running away from an abusive partner, the parent is alcoholic or has some other story-worthy affliction. once the child has turned 14, they seem to operate as if they were an adult.

Nice!

Although I can think of a few soaps where the children are main characters. Neighbours, for instance...

don't watch neighbors that much, but in Deepforest, there are strict laws on how long a child can be on set. I think that babies can only be on set for 2 hours a week and they spend most of that time crying. the soap the spell is based on is home and away, with the missing child count currently at 4, while their older half-siblings have trouble with each other. if two people get married, the couple will be step siblings and it could get weird.
