Making me choose between Pingu and Tux? You are an evil, evil man.

That said, I chose Pingu. I love that little guy.

Wow. No Pen-Pen (Evangellion) option.

Probably Chiyo-chan is a Penguin suit but otherwise I'll go with Tux. I never liked choosed the other option.

I've never seen Evangellion (only heard about it), and you only get 5 poll options.:smallfrown:

Go Feathers McGraw!

I think this poll needs remaking based on Pengiuns people actually care about. Keep Pingu and Tux but Thog doesn't deserve a place.

When my family watched the movie "Secondhand Lions", my dad, brother, and I all yelled at once, "Berke Breathed drew those comics!" and we watched the entire credits just to see if we were right. We were. It was cool.

And yes, Opus should definitely be in the poll.

True.

On the subject of Berges I still laugh when I think of Berges Merediths penguin squawk even though I haven't seen that show for many years.

Who are Pingu and Tux?

*Sniff* I don't feel like talking to you now...

Pingu is a stop-motion animated plastacene penguin from a kids show. Tux the mascot of the Linux operating system so named because Penguins look like they have a natural tuxedo.

Wippit Guud
2007-03-15, 01:34 PM
Tux got hit by an Apple flying through a Window, and died a horrible death.

So, hijacking a transport ship, including breaking the security code on the navigation system, in addition to being combat trained... and 4 on 1?

I don't think so.

Yeah, but Feathers managed to stop Grommit. That alone precludes any othe response. Feathers is the Batman of penguins, he's a thinker. I suppose in many ways that he's more like the Doctor Doom of penguins.

i just have to be honest here... i cant keep this pent up any longer. i dont want to rain on anyones parade, but havent penguins been done to death? personally, i didnt find them that interesting and now they are everywhere. in all fairness, im probably not the "target audience."

is it bad when i root for the penguins to get squished?

Yes but I agree that they're overdone. Use a different animal for kid cartoons there still plenty more to choose from.

The ones in madagascar were great.

I feel strangely compelled to respond to this thread.

I'm going with the others who've written-in penpen. Having once been a linux geek, I'll say tux is a fairly close second.
