Streets of the Town XVII

[Kyrian]

Look...it's the streets.

[AmberVael]

Skuld looks to Kyrian and pulls her hand back from the waiting rune.
I'm going to prove to her that this isn't my fault. My plan is to reveal that portion of the tapestry of fate to her.
She crosses her arms.
If you question what I am doing I can do it to you first, if that is a preferable solution. I don't think you have much to fear, do you?

[Kyrian]

No, I don't. And if you don't mind, I would prefer you do it to me first then.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel wakes up from Dead Time. He looks around with confusion. "Damn, I hate it when that happens." With a yawn and a stretch, he heads over to Trog's.

[AmberVael]

Skuld nods and moves towards him, then sketches the same rune in front of his head, then places a hand over it and touches him on the forehead with the tip of her fingers.
Kyrian suddenly knows that Skuld was not the one at fault for Iames's and Aerin's disappearance. How he can be so certain is unclear, but he can tell that there is no way this could be false.
He gains a collection of small knowledges that all prove without a doubt that Skuld was not the one behind this. It gives her location at the time, and many things leading up to that time that (taken all together) indicate that she had not prepared anything ahead of time (including the bracelets which had been given to the three as their wedding gift).

[Kyrian]

Kyrian opens his eyes and nods, allowing her to show Vera.

[AmberVael]

Skuld steps back towards Verdandi and repeats the process, though she seems to have to strain a little more to actually accomplish it with Vera. Verdandi glares, though her features tremble a little.
Its a lie. I know its your fault! I know... its...
She hangs her head and sobs.
Skuld sighs and releases the bonds of force, then puts her armored arms around Verdandi. She doesn't look particularly comfortable with the situation.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian motions to Skuld that he'll that he'll hold Verdandi, if it'd make her more comfortable.

[AmberVael]

Skuld easily shifts Verdandi's weight in her arms, moving to pass the crying valkyrie to Kyrian without Verdandi even seeming to notice.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian holds Verdandi, trying to comfort her just by being there.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi cries and puts her arms tightly around Kyrian, while Skuld backs away and then darts off into the sky.

[Kyrian]

It'll be ok... Kyrian holds her, allowing her to cry.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi nods to Kyrian while her wings shudder.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian holds her close, gently rubbing her back.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi's crying slows and she pulls her wings to her back, but out of Kyrian's way. She leans against him, pain still in her eyes.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian keeps rubbing her back, gently.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi looks up at him, her clear blue eyes sad but grateful.
Thank you.

[Kyrian]

You don't need to. I care about you, and only want to make sure you'll be ok.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi smiles a little and leans her head back against him. Her hair falls out of place somewhat.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian smiles back at her.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi pulls her wings open and curls them slightly around the two of them, though mostly around herself.

[Kyrian]

So...before we were interrupted, is there anything you'd like to do today?

[AmberVael]

Verdandi shakes her head.
Not really.

[Kyrian]

You're going to get through this Verdandi...I know you will.

[AmberVael]

I know. Eventually.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian gives a small nod, and a small smile. It'll take time, but Vera...you've got friends here that care for you, and will help you through this.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi smiles at him and puts her wings a little further around him.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian doesn't seem to notice this. I can't speak for everybody, but I know that I won't give up on you. I'll do everything I can to help you.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi wraps her wings all the way around him and hums a little.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian looks off into the distance.

[Therarde]

Therarde walks out of the library with a sigh and makes his way back to Trog's.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi remains as she is, smiling.

Kyrian looks at her. What?

[AmberVael]

Nothing.
Verdandi keeps smiling.

[Kyrian]

What are you thinking about that's got you smiling?

[AmberVael]

You just managed to get me into a good mood.
Verdandi closes her eyes and keeps leaning against Kyrian.

[Kyrian]

I only try my best.

[AmberVael]

She smiles and ruffles her wings a little.

[Kyrian]

How about a drink?

Verdandi nods and pulls away from him.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian smiles and looks down at the streets below. Any preference as to where?

[AmberVael]

I... I don't think I'm up for Trog's.

[Kyrian]

Knowing my luck, I'll walk in and the daily bar fight would start...where to then?

[AmberVael]

Verdandi shrugs.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian shakes his head and laughs. Well, there's Hank's and the SMBR?

[AmberVael]

Lets go to Hanks.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian nods, and with a smile and wink, dives off the edge of the roof.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi hops of the roof after him and lands without taking any harm.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian catches himself with his hands, cracking the ground beneath him as he stops in a handstand. He smiles as he flips himself onto his feet.

Verdandi shakes her head, smiling slightly.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian smiles and sticks his tongue out at her as he leads her to Hank's.

Verdandi follows him, smiling softly.

What appears to be The Masked One stumbles out of the temple of Inari. He limps aimlessly around the street, seemingly entirely lost.

Verdandi goes inside.

Nazgul leads Aeri out of Trog's and smiles at her.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and looks around Where would you like to go?

Starts running about, hunting down and eliminating any zombies that got out of Trog's.

As long as it's with you, it really matters little to me. Anywhere you'd like to go?

[Deadly]

Aeri thinks Somewhere peaceful and nice. I don't really know many places around here.

The Masked One looks like a zombie, but is not moaning brains. He stands at the side of the street, and as he sees the person killing zombies, thinks it best that he should vanish. He has to concentrate very hard indeed to teleport, something that before he wouldn't need to do.

Nazgul wraps his arms around Aeri and just smiles at her.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and looks up at the sky Maybe... we could fly a bit. We could see far from the sky.

[Kyrian]

It's like you read my mind...Hold on. Nazgul stretches his wings out.

[Kabroth Ironmaw]

Rovnul cackles as he carves the last zombie in half. Once finished with that, the hobgoblin searches the pockets of all of the zombies for enough cash to get his equipment repaired.

[Deadly]

Aeri holds on to him tightly, a bit nervous.

Rovnul starts heading back to the tavern, looking for somebody to get directions from.

[Kyrian]

Don't worry, I won't drop you. Nazgul slowly leaves the ground, keeping his arms wrapped around Aeri.

[Therarde]

Therarde walks out of Trog's, and an eagle flies onto his shoulder. He pulls some seeds out of a pack and gives them to it.

[Deadly]

Aeri tenses as she leaves the ground, but quickly relaxes again as she looks around. She smiles I know you won't.

[Kabroth Ironmaw]

Rovnul walks over to Therarde and says something in a strange language. After a few seconds, Rovnul remembers the language barrier. Warr army?

[Kyrian]

Nazgul takes them higher up, over the streets. He also pulls Aeri up some, so that her head is level with his own, and holds her close.

[Therarde]

Therarde looks at Rovnul suspiciously. I have no idea where the army is, or if there even is one. I would suggest looking around somewhere.

[Deadly]

Aeri looks around in awe It's so beautiful up here... she says and looks out across the sea

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel exits Trog's and glances around idly.

[Kyrian]

Doesn't compare to you...

No army? Rovnul grumbles, then moves along, looking for the armory.

[Deadly]

Aeri blushes and looks up at him as best she can Thank you.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul nods with a smile as he leans down and kisses her cheek.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and sighs happily Do you think we could fly over the woods?

[Kyrian]

Of course. Nazgul smiles and flies them over to the woods, and goes lower, so they are a little ways above the treetops.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and kisses him as they fly.

[Kyrian]

I love this. Nazgul smiles at her as he continues to fly above the trees.

[Deadly]

Aeri closes her eyes, enjoying the wind and being close to him Me too... it's wonderful.

[Therarde]

With nothing better to do, Therarde wanders back into Trog's.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul sighs happily. It is...I don't think I ever really enjoyed flying like this until recently.

[Deadly]

Aeri looks at him Really? Why not?

[Kyrian]

Well, for one, I've never had a lovely lady in my arms before until now. Nazgul grins down at her. But also, I've never flown to just think about things like how much I care about you.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi comes out of Hanks.

[Deadly]

Aeri blushes again I care about you too. she closes her eyes again I love you.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul is for the third time now, thankful his skin is too dark to betray his cheeks turning red. I love you too.

Kyrian leaves Hanks and smiles at Verdandi. Sorry...some NPC was asking me for my autograph...don't really know why.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi smiles and shakes her head, then sets off towards her home.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and enjoys the flight, sighing happily

[Kyrian]

They fly past the woods, and are now passing over the country side. Nazgul smiles as he watches the ground pass beneath them.

Verdandi reaches her home and goes inside.

[Deadly]

Aeri watches in silence, too awed to say anything.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul spots a pond (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26620) below them, and drops down to land nearby.

Domren exits the police station, pinning his new badge to his tunic. He holds a map in his hands, and consults it frequently as he begins walking the streets.

Lues folds his arms, tapping his fingers on his biceps impatiently as he tries to figure out a plan of action.

[Therarde]

Therarde walks out of Trog's and begins wandering the streets, looking for something interesting. He mutters something to his eagle and it flies up and soars above town.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel, leaning against a random wall with arms folded, waves as Therarde passes by.

[Therarde]

Therarde doesn't seem to notice Nathaniel, or anything else for that matter. He wears a blank expression on his face.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel shrugs indifferently, and goes back to doing nothing.

[Therarde]

Therarde wanders around, in a daze, until he runs into the wall of a building. Then he whistles and the eagle flies onto his shoulder. He then goes inside Trog's.

Nathaniel walks up to the Church of the Seed. He inspects the outside for a moment, then enters.

[AmberVael]

Aesa appears outside her portal and looks around.

[Rebonack]

Two NPCs are currently arguing over how much one should pay the other for a cow.

[AmberVael]

Aesa smirks, goes invisible, and drifts towards the two.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel exits the Church of the Seed, and looks around.

[AmberVael]

A glowing, illusionary sign next to a portal might catch Nathaniel's attention.
Its something about mercenary and assassination services.

[Rebonack]

"Ten gold is the standard price for a cow," says the first to the second in a rather indignant tone.

"That cow has more bones than meat on it! You should be paying me to take her off your hands. I'll give you six and no more!" responds the second.

The pair are far to busy arguing over non-coin wealth to notice Aesa. The fact that she's invisible helps.

[AmberVael]

Aesa watches them for a moment, then smiles and appears behind the first man, spreading her wings and grinning like an angel of death.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel notices the sign, and goes to inspect it further. Something about mercenary and assassin services. Could be useful. Though, they do say if you want something done right, do it yourself.

[AmberVael]

The sign simply reads:
MIST SPIRE-
Home of Aesa, Diviner, Assassin and Mercenary for hire.
Inquire inside.

[Warpfire]

"Hm." Nathaniel makes a mental note of the sign in case he ever needs any of those services, and continues on down the streets.

[Rebonack]

The second man sees Aesa rather plainly and begins sputtering incoherently. Everyone knows the only time PCs interact with NPCs is when they want something or when something bad is about to happen.

He begins to slowly back away.

"What?" asks the other obliviously. He then turns around, expecting some hideous, slathering monster.

[AmberVael]

Aesa smiles at the man.
I suggest you sell the cow for six gold.

[Rebonack]

"I... well... eerr..." he stammers.

The other fellow currently looks as though buying a cow is the last thing on his mind.

[AmberVael]

Aesa smiles at him.
So, are you selling the cow?

[Rebonack]

"Yes! I'm selling my cow!" the man finally manages to blurt out.

The second seems to be debating whether or not to run away.

Aesa looks at the second man.
Maybe you should buy it at the price you wanted then.
She uses a quick spell to turn invisible and make an illusion walk off.

The pair finish their transaction and head for home, glad they weren't transmuted into ferrets.

Aesa chuckles to herself and looks for more npcs to toy with.

Nathaniel heads into Trog's.

Aesa sighs and then goes to Trog's as well.

Domren continues to explore the town. after a while, he finds himself outside Trog's. He pauses outside, taking in its appearance, then enters.

Eric exits the slums and makes his way into Trog's.

Agent Omega exits the station, and wanders to Trog's.

Lues walks out of his church, a look of thorough satisfaction on his face.

Nathaniel exits Trog's, and starts walking around the streets.

Sia wakes up from where she was curled up in an alleyway. Blearily looking around, she curses at not having recieved any news and walks dejectedly to Trog's Tavern.

Nathaniel heads to the woods.

[Xaspian]

The Pigeon flaps his way across Town, occaisionally stopping on random rooftops. Sometimes he looks in windows.

[McBish]

Eric leaves Trog's and heads towards the OmniShop.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel enters from the woods, and heads over to Trog's.

[Therarde]

Therarde walks out of Trog's, whistles, and his eagle comes flying to his shoulder, carrying a dead mouse in it's beak. He takes the mouse, cuts it in half with a pocket knife, and gives half of it to the eagle, eating the rest. He begins walking around aimlessly.

Rovnul, fed up with looking for an armory for a day, heads back to the tavern.

[Therarde]

Therarde stops suddenly, sniffs, and crouches down, down looking at the ground. He moves around like this for a while, following some unseen path, making his way to Trog's. He stands up suspiciously and walks in.

Karaki re-enters town and wanders around, looking for potential places to put up posters advertising Elune's Shop.

[McBish]

Eric leaves the OmniShop and heads towards Trog's in his new clothes.

Domren leaves Trog's at quite a fast pace, walking in a random direction. [hr] after a while, he finds himself outside the omnishop. He stands, considering the shop for a while, before entering.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul leads Aeri through a shortcut for the Romantic Pond, and back onto the streets. He looks around.

[Deadly]

Aeri looks around as well Where should we look, do you think?

I thought I'd seen some apartment complex from the air yesterday, just trying to think which direction it's in.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and tries to remember if she's seen anything That sounds good.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul finally recognizes a sign. Over here.

[Deadly]

Aeri nods and walks in that direction Ok

Nazgul smiles as he leads her in.

Mychasi flies out of Trogs, looking a little sleepy. He gives a small yawn and heads towards Elune's hut in the woods.

Nathaniel walks from Trog's into the streets, and after a short bit of walking aimlessly he decides to head to the beach.

Quollar walks out of Trog's, through the streets, and into Hank's.[hr]Domren leaves the Omnishop and heads towards the police station.

The mutt runs towards Trog's.

[Xaspian]

The Pigeon flaps over to, and hops into the Police Station.

Agent Omega runs towards Trog's, readying his pistols on the way there.

The Pigeon follows Agent Omega, trying to keep up, but not get in front of him.

Domren steps out into the streets, waiting for The Fool.

[The Fool]

The Fool silently exits Trog's, pushing open the door with his free hand. He twirls the mace around in his right hand and waits for Domren to lead him to the station.

Domren leads The Fool to the station in silence.

[The Fool]

The Fool follows quickly.

Jaric walks out of Trog's and fingers the key in his pocket before he finally pulls it out. He casts Plane Shift using the key and vanishes from the streets.

Agent Omega walks silently to the Lab.

[Chaotic Bob]

Rizzen half stumbles in from the woods and looks around. He remembers something and enters the police station.

He walks back out moments later, minus a bracelet, and wanders about for a few minutes. Afterwards he considers walking into Trog's, but instead stagger/walks back to the woods.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel looks around, and realizing there's not much else for him to do, he heads to Trog's.

[McBish]

The mutt now starts to patrol the streets.

[Rebonack]

The Traveler steps through a gate onto the Streets in Al's general location looking none too chipper.

[McBish]

Hey Maph'tey you went after Aesa didn't you?

[Rebonack]

Maph'tey nods.

"I went to her plane to talk with her, but she didn't seem to be in the mood for it," he sighs. "How's the polymorphed body working, by the way? It should be permanent unless someone breaks the spell. Or you get stuck in an anti-magic field. In which case you would turn back into a kobold."

[McBish]

Damm it I was hoping that was a dream. Well I'm good for now. And no she didn't seem to be in the mood to talk. Which sucks for us because that means we have to try to bring her in by force. Sometime.

[Kyrian]

mSilas back out of Trog's, and starts heading down the street.

[Rebonack]

The Traveler rubs the back of his head absently.

"I honestly think that part of her problem is the fact that she gets away with pretty much anything. I have the uncanny feeling that she would mellow down a bit if someone managed to serve her a helping of humble pie," Maph'tey creates a stool for himself and takes a seat.

"I... Well... I think that I could. But I wouldn't be able to hold back anything, which could have pretty dire consequences. I don't like hurting people. Even people that deserve it. And Aesa doesn't seem like the sort to be incapacitated without violence."

[McBish]

Yeah. My plan for these superpowers that wander the Town consists of dying many times and coming back and keep bugging them until they decide that jail time is less annoying then being hounded by me. Sometimes I just wish I had some good old fashion demons to sink my teeth into.

[Kyrian]

mSilas wanders past Al and Maph'tey, heading for the countryside.

[Rebonack]

"That doesn't sound particularly pleasant. Inspiring, but not pleasant," he pauses for a moment. "Come to think of it, the first time I saw you here in Town was when that random demon attacked the tavern."

He blinks.

"I'm Maph'tey, by the way. I don't know if I ever really got the chance to talk to you."

[McBish]

The Traveler decides to dismiss his stool and accompany the noble hound/polymorphed kobold on his patrol.

"To be honest it's nice to meet people who are willing to go out of their way to make things a little bit better for people who can't stop time and raise the dead. Most of the denizens here seem to be happy to maim others if it happens to be convenient."

Yeah I noticed. The mutt growls a bit. But someone has to try and stop them.

"But do the punishments for crime here really stop anyone?" Maph'tey asks with a bit of concern evident in his voice. "Where I come from a murder gets hung. And resurrection isn't even possible. It seems strange that the punishment in Town is a few days in time out and a stern warning not to do it again."

Al sighs. Well it seems to me most bad guys here end up dead anyways. We give them a chance to change, and if they don't... well there are plenty of powerful good people.

"I don't know... The people I've met here that I would consider 'good' and 'powerful' pretty much consists of Gent and... I don't know. That mouse was pretty impressive. Rell and Fydan seem to be able to hold their own. But against people like the two who were squabbling in the tavern today the only people I know of who frequent here that could conceivably stop them have trouble with violence."

[McBish]

Yeah, the tend does seem to be going that way at the moment. Who knows why.

[Rebonack]

"Discouragement, perhaps. Things are so bad here that people feel that they would be able to help more elsewhere," he shrugs. "Then there's the fact that most powerful beings look at 'mere mortals' as being nothing more than irrelevant specks at best and a source of amusement at worst."

"I help where I can, but I miss things. Like that whole bombing a few days ago. I don't think I could have done much to stop it honestly. I want to be able to make people's lives better, and offering my help where it's needed is all I really know how to do."

[McBish]

Yeah well it is appreciated. The mutt yawns. I should get going thanks for the company. He heads into the station.

Maph'tey waves to the departing officer.

"Good night Al. Try to avoid getting reincarnated as anything worse."

He heads off down the Streets to an as yet undetermined destination.

Eric leaves Trog's and heads down towards the beach.

The Pigeon leaves Trog's, and goes into the Police Station.

Rryss exits trogs and walks in a random direction

Nazgul smiles as he leads Aeri from the apartment complex out into the streets.

Aeri takes a deep breath as she follows, enjoying the weather

Aeri smiles and enters the restaurant

Nazgul follows her inside.

Helen heads out of Trogs, holding a demon in her hand. She grins at the demon and sends it scuttling into a niche by the police station. She then heads for the docks.

The mutt leaves the Station and heads to Trog's. He seems to be talking to himself.

The portal is still quite obviously there. The sign announcing assassin and mercenary services is still there as well.

The mutt sighs. Damm her. He walks through.

Jack trots out of Inari's temple and heads for the slums.

The Pigeon hops out of the Police Station, proudly wearing his shiny new badge. With a jump, he flies up, and begins flying above Town, patrolling.

[Therarde]

Therarde walks out of Trog's with a sigh, whispers something to the eagle on his shoulder, and it flies off, soaring high above the town.

Sia slips out of Trog's Tavern, and heads for the Slums, keeping to the shadows.

Ilvari walks out of Trogs. She looks up and down the streets. Those who knew her well would say she was scared. She walks quickly down to Saurous' magic guild.

A hooded figure heads out of the tavern. It pauses, looking round. It then walks into one of the shadows.

Sia leaves the Slums at a fast run, her footsteps echoing off the alleyway she ducks into. With slightly trembling hands, she opens the folded piece of parchment she takes out of her pocket. Her face falls as she sees the content. A single symbol rests in the middle of the page.
Wait? Wait?!?! What do you think I've been doing here, you bastard?
Sia scowls and kicks the wall of the alleyway, then curses as her foot starts to throb. Crumpling the piece of parchment and shoving it deep in her pocket, she turns and walks to Trog's Tavern.

[Castaras]

The hooded figure walks out of the shadows. It heads for Trogs again.

[The Flagg]

A form, walking down the path to Town from the docks, becomes visible; a man, wearing navy blue, and black pants that end tucked into black boots, walks, seeming filled with intention. One of his eyes is sewn shut; a hand fingers a flintlock at his belt, a long scar running down the palm and ending where the index finger is nearly completely removed. His strides are calm, yet powerful; the light in his eyes is dotted with intensity.
Another man follows him; he wears a rag around his head, and seems much less wary than the first. He wears a white working shirt and black pants, and seems to be taking in the view of the Town with admiration. Just behind him, a thinner, paler man makes a quicker pace. He's wearing a white vest and jacket, and breeches; at his side, he carries a small book.
As the first walks through the street, he glances casually at Trog's Tavern, pondering something or another. The second, chuckling, notes the sign above the door with a sort of excitement, and opens the door quickly, stepping inside. The other man, following the two, looks at the sign with distaste and then settles his gaze on the other man. "Captain - we're looking for a carpenter, aren't we?" The captain seems amused, and turns. "Well, yes...but the men'll come down from Flagg soon enough. We might's well get ourselves a drink or three, Doc." He takes the slowly closing door and throws it open effortlessly, then directs his stride inside. 'Doc' looks dismayed, and, glancing over his shoulder, hurries inside as the door shuts.

[Goblin Music]

Rryss goes in to trogs

[Murazor]

Murazor the Vampire exits the Tavern and finds himself on the streets. He turns to Kyrian and asks
excuse me, Do you know where I could learn how to survive without blood?Like, a cure for vampirism?

[Obsidian Blade]

Sia leaves Trog's, muttering. The orb in her hand flashes a dull red again as she heads to the OmniShop.

[Murazor]

I guess not, i'll be leaving now.
And Murazor disappears in a wreath of shadows.

[Therarde]

Therarde, after standing there like an idiot for several hours, walks back inside Trog's.

[Obsidian Blade]

Sia leaves the OmniShop, holding an amulet. With nowhere else to go, she heads to Trog's.

[McBish]

The mutt comes out of the portal to Aesa's plane he heads towards the station.

[Rebonack]

The Traveler is standing not too far from the station.

"Good evening Al. I have a question for you."

[McBish]

Oh yes what is it? He seems to be in a foul mood. It might have something to do with the gash on his side, it might not.

[Rebonack]

Maph'tey notes the wound and manifests Reality Revision to heal the poor kobold-hound. He does this instead of using a healing spell since he's not too good at casting them.

"Do you think the police have any real positive impact on what happens here in Town? I... I'm not asking out of facetiousness or anything. I honestly want to know joining your 'force' would do any good."

[McBish]

It is rare but sometimes. I also do a lot of NPC work. I've stoped plenty of crime that my player was to busy to type out.

[Rebonack]

The Traveler sighs as he pretends to understand what Al means by the NPC work comment.

"Is the force accepting job applications? I'm pretty good at harmlessly incapacitating people, which I'm sure would be helpful."

[McBish]

We are accepting as many people as we can at the moment trying to make the force a little more powerful of a force. Follow me to the station. He heads inside.

[Rebonack]

Maph'tey nods and walks off towards the beach while whistling.

[McBish]

Eric leaves Trog's and heads to the beach.

[Baeleck]

Elune enters town from the woods. She wanders the streets, heading in no particular direction.

Mychasi flees onto the streets from the tavern. He doesn't notice Elune as he speeds by in the opposite direction. Elune takes a moment to twig, but then thinks that following Mychasi is a bad idea, as she can barely run, let alone at the speed that Mychasi is flying. She awaits what may follow out of the tavern. After a short while, she decides to poke her head round the door, to see what may have caused the wyrmling to flee.

[Castaras]

Tasha walks through the gates, whistling. She adjusts her grip on her great axe and makes her way down the streets. Pausing to look at the various buildings, she comes upon Trogs. She hears the fighting inside, and peers through the window. Her eyes widen slightly, mouth curling into a smile. She walks in.

Tasha walks out of the tavern. She looks up and down the streets, and ambles down in a random direction. She sees the police station, thinks for a moment, before walking in.

[The_Librarian]

The librarian storms out of Trog's, slamming the door behind her. She walks a few steps before sitting down on a low wall and holding her head in her hands. Heart racing, and feeling out of breath for a moment, she glances up at the door, and debates going back inside.

I need to cool off, she thinks to herself. I can't be reasonable like this. She pauses as she gets up and rubs her neck. Note to self - it hurts less to do that when it's on a thin leather thong than a chain...

Looking for some comforting dessert, she heads off towards Sneak's.

[Baeleck]

Mychasi leaves the tavern. He sees a new building that wasn't there before, and so ventures inside.

Shortly afterwards, Mychasi leaves again, not impressed with the place. He flies off out of town.

Elune comes out of the tavern for a moment. She uses her powers to fire a huge, wide pillar of ice into the sky. It just hovers there, as if dangling like a stalactite from the clouds. She leaves it, and returns inside.

After another short while, Elune leaves the tavern again. She dismisses the pillar, and heads for her hut.

[Castaras]

Tasha heads out of the station, and heads for Trogs.

[Castaras]

Tasha drags Nomos out of the tavern, taking him to the police station.

[Kyrian]

Romulus runs out of Trog's around the same time Silas manages to do the same from the Police Station.

"You! Romulus, you felt the same thing?"

Romulus raises an eyebrow. "How do you know my name?"

"I figure the same way you know mine."

He thinks for a moment. "Silas, isn't it? Yes, I believe I did get the same feeling. What's going on?"

Silas nods, and points at a nearby rooftop, where dark clouds are gathering. "I don't know, but I think we're going to find out here shortly..."

[Remus]

Lighting starts to strike above the rooftop that Silas pointed at, and as one bolt strikes the roof, two forms appear.

Ah, so you both came.

How nice to see you again, brother...

Remus and Victor look down at Romulus and Silas. Remus cracks his knuckles as his unholy armor appears on him, and Victor laughs as a bo staff, that seems to be made of cooling lava, appears in his hand.

You think you can still stand against me, Romulus? The time has come, and you two are the first."

[Kyrian]

Romulus glares up at Remus, reaching for some gold, though he already knows it is useless now. "I know I can. I've always proven to be the better warrior, you stand no chance against me, Remus!"

Silas watches Victor as his hands melt to form his usual energy cannons.

[Meynolds]

Moon leaves the Station and heads over to Trog's.

[Remus]

Remus roars with laughter. Come now, you know that won't work on me anymore, I've found my antidote, and now I plan on bringing pain to you, for all the pain you've caused me.

Victor throws the bo staff, aiming for one of Silas' hands.

[Kyrian]

Romulus sighs and draws his sword. Silas jumps back, but as the staff hits the ground, it explodes, throwing Silas back. Romulus brings a wing up to shield himself from the blast, but still suffers a couple of burns in his left wing.

[Remus]

Remus laughs even harder as he summons a greataxe and dives down at Romulus.

Victor jumps down and starts over to the police station.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel exits Trog's and starts wandering the streets, half-hoping that someone attacks him.

[Castaras]

Tasha peers outside, sees the fight, and brandishes her greataxe, waiting to see what happens next.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel catches sight of the fight, and decides to stop and watch it.

[Kyrian]

Silas runs and leaps at Victor, aiming to tackle him.

Romulus' concentration was broken during the explosion, and he gets cut on the chest as Remus swings and hits him. Romulus cries out and swings back.

[Castaras]

Tasha looks from one fight to the other, not sure which to join.

[Remus]

Victor grins as he falls backwards, grabbing at Silas' shirt and ripping the police badge off it. He then plants his foot and kicks at Silas' chest.

Remus' left ear gets a deep gash and he brings the handle of the greataxe down onto Romulus' face.

[Castaras]

Tasha makes her decision and charges at Remus. She brings her great axe down on him from behind.

[Rebonack]

Maph'tey steps outside and notes the melee.

"I'm going to give one warning to stand down."

[Kyrian]

Silas grunts as the wind is knocked out of him. He doesn't notice the badge being removed from his shirt, as he's currently flying into an abandoned building. He goes straight through the still standing brick wall, and a pile of rubble covers him.

There is a loud crack as the handle breaks Romulus' nose. He cries out, as blood flows freely from the wound. "Bor Sbala!" He cries out as he swings his sword, fire and ice coating the blade.

[Remus]

Remus takes the swing from Romulus, bring his arm up to stop the sword short, where he punches at Romulus' face with his fist. He growls as Tasha cuts his wing. Stepping back over to Victor, he grins.

We've given our message, Victor, they know it's begun...

Victor grins as he crushes Silas' badge, and nods. That they have, let's go.

They vanish.

[Kyrian]

Romulus falls back at the hit, groaning as he hits the ground.

Silas tries to escape his pile of rubble, to no avail.

[Castaras]

Tasha blinks in surprise as the two disappear.

What was going on here?

[Warpfire]

As the fight appears to end, Nathaniel wanders on down the street.

[Rebonack]

Maph'tey ventures that the crimson winged celestial being attacked by another officer is one of the bad guys.

The Traveler's eyes flare silver as he takes a step back from the universe to see if he can't find out where the pair went.

((MetaFaculty, basically. He's attempting to track them.))

[Castaras]

Tasha walks over to Silas and attempts to pull him out the rubble.
