Ok so I was wanting to run a friend of mine through a play by post campaign. We normally get together to do our games but health issues have taken that option off the shelf. So my question is would this forum be the best place to run said game? Is there a better forum for it? Is there one I could make so that only he and I could post in or look at? IS that something these forums were designed to give? I've played in a few games on these forums that we're in the join a game and IC threads and such but I've never tried to start one or for that matter a private one so I just wasn't sure what the proper decorum was.

Here's where most games start when you're short on members, (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?51-Finding-Players-(Recruitment)) and here is where the action happens. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?13-Ongoing-Games-(In-Character))

This is the OOC thread, (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?21-Out-of-Character) which is usually linked with the In-Character thread and is where roleplay is ditched to help explain what's going on. Be sure to read the rules of each forum at the top of the page and examine other people's threads a bit before making your own.

Then you might wanna ask a mod to scrap this post, as this part of the site is meant for ridiculous play-by-posts, and not entire campaigns or people asking about such.

Aha, thank you very much and I'll do just that. Much appreciated for the point in the right direction.

If it's just you and your friend, why not just text each other?

The fancy posting options that come with playing in the playground. Dice roller, formatting, fun stuff such as that. Plus the possibility of adding additional people at some point in the future if my health allows.
