where is it? i know it exists and it takes an hour, but it hurts you. you either receive non lethal damage or con damage

a quick response is needed

Allows scribing scrolls autonomously. I dont see it as overpowered with a little houseruling on the side if it allowed a reverse process.

Dont know of any feats.

thanks for the suggestion, i know of that one. but i swear i have seen something like i want.

I hated being a Wizard in a group that seemingly didn't believe in downtime.

Quill of Rapid Scrivening (DMG2) lets you copy a spell from a scroll into your spellbook in 10 minutes. It's expensive though.

If Spells are ok, you might want to check out the outdated Level 3 version of Amanuensis in Magic of Faerun. It can be used to copy spells faster.

its not quite what i was thinking of but yes! thats good! (though not for level 8) i will craft it as soon as i can!

Pricing out the components, it looks like:

Rapid scribing: 12,000
Forgery bonus: 10,000
stacking penalty: 5,000 (+50% of the cost of the less expensive enchantment)

You could ask your DM if you could find/make a lesser quill of rapid scrivening that has only the rapid scribing enchantment for 12,000 gp.
