Weapon Bond Question

So I've been looking over the eldritch knight and I noticed it does not have ritual casting as a class feature, I also noticed Weapon Bond, the very first EK specific ability you get, is a ritual...

Does this mean that you cant even cast it unless you take the Ritual casting feat?

It's a ritual exclusive to the Eldritch Knight subclass. It isn't, however, a ritual spell and therefore does not need the Ritual Caster feature to use.
