Cry Havoc and Let Slip the Blink Dogs of War!

In a 3.5 campaign, my players were attacked by a pack of blink hounds. Unfortunately, they kind of suck at dealing with them. They can't win. How should I handle this?

Is the party evil? because Blink Dogs are good IIRC, so they might be Charmed or something, give someone a Knowledge check to possibly figure this out. honestly im not sure, is the party almost dead? I need some more info to work with

When dealing with LG creatures, begging for mercy has a chance.

There's really not too many ways to shut down the distinctive feature of Blink Dogs, which is blinking. Do they have access to Dimensional Lock or similar?
