Greetings mortals! Fear me not, for I have come not to harm you, but to save you! For I am.... "THE BLUE BLAZE!" Defender of those that can't defend themselves! Harbinger of justice! User of many exclamation points! And THE fastest man on the planet!

Don't believe me? Check me out here on youtube :smalltongue:. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1Aed6vsPWg) (Please give me high rating and leave nice comments .)

And also see my article in the local newspaper. (http://www.dhonline.com/articles/2007/03/13/news/top_story/6aaa01_super.txt) (Thank you Alex Paul.)

I'm auditioning for "Who Wants to be a Superhero," and I'm hoping and wishing and praying that I'll make it to the finals!! It'll be hard, as I'm going up against some pretty tough competition:

Hard Luck (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuXrwFX8QnM) (my fave!)

The Draft (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JAPMdxJmDw)

Citizen Prime (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qh9u1YRW8oM)

I've just started fighting crime here in the mid-valley, so I wouldn't mind getting any pointers from the veterans out there. Are any of you heroes like me? If so, I'd love it if we could start our own elite super group!! We can be like the "Mystery Men" or the "Justice Friends."

I'm totally serious, too. Are any of you out there auditioning, or perhaps just superheroes in your off-time?

Did you like the first season of "Who Wants?" I watched that show religiously! I kinda had a crush on Monkey Woman . I just love her website (http://www.monkeywoman.com/)

Major Victory is the funniest! Here's a link to him. (http://www.majorvictory.net/)

And Feedback is just so cool! Link (http://www.forcefeedback.tv/)... (if he played Legend of Zelda, would he know how to play an ocarina?)

Anyone else out there have a favorite super from the show?

How about a favorite superhero in general?

Heroes in real life?

Questions for me?

Oh my gosh! I'm just so excited!

Oh.. one more thing! (looks to the left, looks to the right..)

"Er hrm... YATTA!!!"

I don't have time for this auditioning crap, I spend too much busting my hump chasing down my blasted rogues gallery. You'd think that Doctor Professor PhD MD would get the message that crime doesn't pay.

I think Stan Lee is organizing it. I noticed one super-hero notice in my audition listings that will give the winner his/her own comic book. Though I usually avoid reality show auditions and stick to acting parts.

I enjoyed your little short. You have a good sense for editing.

Good Luck. Don't worry the Blue Wizard won't be there to compete, but I'll be on the lookout, for my fellow Blue Hero.

Wow I was worried I imagined the first season. It seemed no one else has ever heard of it.

Nice hat by the way

Yeah, did they ever actually show the first winner's movie? (However it turned out, it had to be better than most of the B Z-movie garbage they show on weekends.

...Not that I don't enjoy watching really bad movies. (Plus it's just fun to say "Mansquito." )

lol I watched the first season with my boyfriend. It was pretty amusing. Feedback was my favorite from the start, and I'm glad he won. :)

Good luck with this next season! I'll keep an eye out for you.

As for your video... it starts out kinda slow, but gets better in the end. I think the name is catchy and the idea is a good one.

Blue Blaze?

Inspired by Buckaroo Banzai perhaps? Or is it a freak coincidence that you are named after his militia group?

Well, I would be a superhero, really I would, but I'm more on the "Supply" side of crime.

Feedback's movie is coming out this July along with his comic series. I've also had the privilege of seeing his audition (I think I remember seeing it on his fansite).

Thanks for all the compliments, by the way . That is my favorite hat. I used to own a khaki fedora that was stolen by some thieves who broke into my car - a real problem I'm truly working on here in the valley. They also stole nearly two hundred dollars worth of Dungeons & Dragons books. So what I did was I worked some connections with all the game stores in and out of town. Then I started visiting slummy bars, looking for anyone wearing my hat. I had a few leads, but nothing solid.

Then I got a real hot lead. Seeth, the owner of my favorite game store (he's the blonde guy opening the boxes in my audition), low-balled some chick for some books she tried pawning off under the alias "Miranda Right." (Yeah, like that's a real name :smallyuk:.) I then identified the books as mine :smallmad:. GRRR... I really wish I had been in the store when that ruttin' crooked skank tried pawning off my gorram books!

So, I got my books back, but I've yet to get back the hat. The one you saw me in was a new one my sis got me for Christmas. In the meanwhile, "Miranda" is still at large. I've done some investigating, and found out she's got an accomplise - Male caucasion, little more than six feet tall. Also, in recent developments, Tom, my supervisor (the big guy in my audition), had his kitchen knives stolen out of his car. I'm sure it's the same folks...

Oh, and Jack_Banzai: I just looked up Buckaroo Banzai on IMBD. Looks like a movie that came out a year before I was born. Considering I got my powers in a freak accident, I'm not shy to say that the name is just a freak coincidence.

OOH! One more thing: Blue Wizard, thanks for your compliments. I must direct your appreciation to my film-maker, Jason. He's a buddy of mine who I work with at Shop-N-Kart. He's an amateur at these movie bits, but a real wiz. You can see the back of his head in the link to my newspaper article. (When he's waiting in line at the theatre, people behind start giggling in excitement.)

Oh, gosh and golly! I hope I get picked!!

Just curious. As you may have surmised from my own handle, I am a big Buckaroo Banzai fan. :)

Woo hoo! I've been talking with my filmmaker, and we're going to make our own series ( I'm still waiting anxiously by my phone for a response from California).

My notoriety in my own town has grown quite large. Local businesses are offering their rooftops for our filmmaking purposes! It was so cool:

"So, who are you?"
"I'm David Chung, I was in the newspaper. Can I borrow your rooftop?"
"Oh, sure thing! That's cool! Can I have a cameo?"

Just like that :smalltongue:.

No offense to you man, because I like the whole Blue Blaze thing, but Citizen Prime has a kickass costume.

If I could be a superhero, I'd be Immigration Dude.

I'd be Super Steven Lynch (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqddGqh3arU)! Or maybe Justice Guy... (please don't click if you are offended by naughty words...:smalleek:)

Citizen Prime's costume is awesome, but his audition doesn't fulfill all the necesary requirements. It isn't long enough, and he doesn't offer any out of character background.

"I am Captain Narcolepsy! Stop or I'll **SNORE>>>>>"

My favorite part in my audition is when Mike steals the purse and bull rushes me. I actually get knocked on my fanny the first time and he keeps running. Jason, my director, shouts cut and we start talking about the scene. We're about to reshoot, when we notice that Mike is missing.

"Did he here the cut?" I ask, looking around the parking lot. (Would've been funny if he just kept running :smalltongue:.) I then spot him talking to some guy in a white truck. I run up to see that the guy he's chatting with is wearing a brown shirt and a star on his chest. It was the county sheriff, and he thought Mike was actually stealing a purse!

I was able to explain that we were shooting a film, and he let us go. My only regret was that we didn't get Mike's interrogation on camera .

Meanwhile, I've become a local celebrity in my little home town. Everywhere I go, people are asking me, "Hey! Aren't you that blue guy?" It's kinda weird...

:furious:CRAPHOLE IN A BUNGHOLE WITH A JIGALO IN THE MIDDLE:furious:!!!

Er-hrm... I mean.. uh, I didn't make the cut :frown:. I'm not really surprised, I didn't really expect to be picked out of hundreds (maybe thousands) of other contestants, but I worked so hard...

I'm still planning on making my own show.. With hookers! And blackjack! In fact, forget the show! (Just kidding :smallwink:.) Me, my cameraman, and a couple of other players are going up to christmas valley (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpnGqGxfDUA) to shoot the first episode of our webcast show .

Preview for the first season here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSM5AhV8Wbo).
A better preview here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhhC9E74NJg&mode=related&search=).

:xykon: I'm so excited I can evilgasm!

Oh! one more thing: Vote for Rift for season 2 of Who Wants? Rift is so cool! I can really identify with him since I too have ADD. VOTE HERE! (http://www.scifi.com/superhero/)
