Eldritch Knight help

Making a Drow Eldritch Knight going to be using a Longsword. Trying to decide dueling or Great Weapon fighting which would give me more benfit in the long run?

It sounds like you're wanting to make a gish. In that case, your best bet is to maximize your casting potential and user buff spells to gain even more damage over what a straight shock trooper fighter would get.

Generally, the core only version is Fighter 2/Wizard 8/Eldritch Knight 10, getting those EK levels ASAP. Outside of core, there's the ever lovely Abjurant Champion, Knight Phantom, and other prestige classes.

Ignore the above. Dueling vs. Great-Weapon Fighting means you're almost certainly talking about 5e, so you're in the wrong forum.
