I want to make a Nightwing avatar , but I don't know how.

Do you need special web sites to do it?

You need either

a) An avatarist willing and able to create you one or:

b) A graphics program (such as Paint) of your choice and a place to put your avatar (such as Photobucket (http://photobucket.com))

For the first, PM an avatarist of your choice or post a request in the avatar request thread. Wait until completed.

For the second, read one of the "how to create an avatar with Paint (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33471)/Illustrator (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8742)/Graphics program of your choice"-threads and start from there.

It isn't very hard, but for a request such as your I suggest digging up a good reference picture for the artist, whether it's you or another person.

Yeah... for future reference, if you do want to request someone to do you an avatar, you really should ought to use the sticky thread that's up the top of the page.

Hm... if you have the original in a larger size, you might want to try resizing it with Irfanview to smooth out the lines.

Try pming an artist on the first post of the thread. That way it'll be done quicker. Or just have loads of patience.
