What do you think of the vampire templates in Book of Templates?

I like them but I don't know how trustworthy that CR adjustment for most of them is. Any tips?

I see two Big problems with being a Vamp. The first is sunlight. You will need to either protect yourself somehow or stay out of the action when outside during the day. the second is the coffin. where will you sleep/retreat to? unless you have a little coffin another party member wares it will slop down getting anywhere as you find a shady place during the day.

As for the challenge rating adjustment the DR alone will greatly boost your power. Having minions that come in the form of an enemy that you just killed is a great resource as they know both strengths and weaknesses. if your game is anything more then a hack n slash game the possibilities are great. strictly fighting games they are less viable. Anyone with a decanter of endless water or if you are stuck outside and you are rolling up a new PC.
