For those that haven't seen them, preparation rituals are small effects added to spells (less than a metamagic feat in power) memorized from specific spellbooks. The examples provided in Ultimate Magic tend to be flavorful and thematic.

What they don't have is a do-it-yourself ruleset.

Has anybody reverse engineered the costs of preparation rituals, or is there a published set of cost guidelines I haven't seen? (Obviously, you could simply subtract the ritual-less price from the price with ritual; I'm interested in a deeper analysis) My wizard has three spellbooks currently, two of which are specific and purposeful collections, but my GM and I have rather different ideas of what a reasonable price for rituals would be.
