what would the price be of an item of "flee the scene"? what if it was limited in uses/day? is any of this even possible by RAW?

Invocations are SLAs, not spells, so no.
However, for those that copy spells, you could make one of the spell that was modified to only need somatic components.

Outside of RAW, I would probably allow them as if they were spells of the spell level they're stated to be.

The thing is, Warlock invocations have scaling caster levels and spell level equivalents. Flee the Scene is a 4th-level-equivalent SLA, with a minimum caster level of 6 (because it's a lesser invocation). So calculate it as if it were a 4th-level spell, with a CL of 6. You'd be stuck at the CL 6 range of 40 feet unless you made it at a higher CL, though.
