ok, so maybe a year or two ago i watched an anime on netflix that i am interested in rewatching, but its been taken down and i simply cannot remember the title.
the first episode starts out introducing us to a pretty stereotypical cast of characters, it looks like its going to be a ripoff of ghost in the shell with spirit monsters instead of Hackers, but at the very end of the episode that entire cast gets slaughtered by a girl with a sword. then in the next episode we are introduced to who will be our actual main character, a young girl whose weapon is the most notable thing in the show, it is a katana that has a gun-like set up on its sheath so that it can shoot the katana out of it.
any help in locating this anime would be great appreciated!
also: any recommendations for anime in a similar vein, Trained squad of people dealing with supernatural foes in an otherwise normal world, would be awesome, i'm going to start running a game thats set up similarly and i'm looking for inspiration. i'm just finished all of Ghost In The Shell, just started up Witch Hunter Robin, and will then be moving on to Hellsing.
