So, I'm trying to find a set of ceramic dice for my wife for our anniversary. I don't know if I'm in the right subforum, but I'm taking a stab at this one. Google's turning up a few sites, but I have no clue if any of them are reputable. Can anyone give me a direction of where to go?

When in doubt, I just troll Amazon lists. ThinkGeek is overpriced (and a bit overrated) but you could give them a shot too. I'd also suggest looking up local gaming stores if your town has any.

I was at a pottery studio this weekend and one of the people who works there incorporates a lot of dice into ther sculptures. You could ask her if you want a custom made set.

Are these supposed to be ornamental? When I think of ceramic, I don't think of things which are meant to be jiggled around and thrown onto hard surfaces. Just curious.

Functional would have been preferred. She really liked the soapstone dice someone brought to the last game, and since china is a traditional second anniversary gift (and we have all the china we want) I applied some linear thinking. But if its not possible to get a working set, I need to think of another gift. Anniversary is next Monday, and I mistakenly thought we weren't getting each other gifts this year.
