A Flask that shatters on command?

I'm trying to find an item I remember. It was a flask that shattered with a command word, releasing whatever was inside. So if you filled it with alchemist's fire, it would shatter in that square just as if you threw it there.

I could have sworn it was 3.5 but I can't for the life of me find it my books or the DM's. I might be misremembering and its 2nd Edition for all I know.
Anyone know where it is and if its compatible with Smokey Confinement?





EDIT: And can multiple flasks be triggered simultaneously?

Pretty sure you're thinking of the breaker bottle, from song and silence page 56. It is indeed a 3.0 book, incidentally.

Ahhh indeed I was. No wonder I couldn't find it.
And it does meet Smokey Confinement's 100gp bottle requirement. All I need now is the DM's approval to port it over to 3.5, and Operation: Instant Ambush is a go.

Well, "Standard Action" Ambush but that doesn't quite have the same ring to it.
