So, I came to this question for a different reason, but take Wee Jas.
She iffy on Undead (or at least I never fully understood her stance)
But suppose a Necropolitian Crusader.
Does the Devoted Spirit Discipline murder them? I know the 9th is Heal based, is it overly unbalancing to switch things over to Inflict and Harm?

Does it specifically say it hurts undead? If not, it doesn't.

And no, allowing it to heal undead is fine.

Oh, I get it.

It's Fall.

It states it duplicates a heal spell, which means it channels positive energy and kills undead.

No, it doesn't. It says the target gets the benefit of Heal. It's rather hard to construe 10 damage/CL as a benefit.

Seconded. Of note is the fact that the description of Heal does not specify that it only heals living creatures, unlike the Cure spells (which do state "living creature" in their rules text), so when using a version of Heal that can only provide targets with the benefit, it removes damage rather than dealing it regardless of target.

Relevant RAW:

When you make this strike, you or one ally within 10 feet of you gains the benefit of a heal spell cast as a cleric of your character level.
Heal enables you to channel positive energy into a creature to wipe away injury and afflictions.
When laying your hand upon a living creature, you channel positive energy that cures 1d8 points of damage +1 point per caster level (maximum +5).
ETA: Nice Halloween avatar, by the way. I'd change mine as well, but I think it's already rather fitting

I hadn't thought of that. It's entirely possible you're right.

Yup, Fall (I tend to associate pumpkins with November rather than Halloween, actually, because that's when I get to start making soup and pie and cheesecake and bread and...). Thanks. This is the first year I've had the variations for each season.

Oh, the last one was Summer? I thought it was just a nature-type character. What're the other versions, if you've debuted them here yet? And what's the base avatar?

It's a greenman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Man), from a lucky chance of choosing my user name just after I got a job at my Univeristy's Sustainability Council and looking for a new avatar shortly after doing a term paper on Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.

Summer's the base (which is why I credit Bradakhan year-round), and I've got Spring, Fall, and Winter versions:
