So I'm trying to figure out some stuff about the use of gate and the calling aspect of the spell.
Now when calling a creature, the spell effect is an instantaneous effect. So far so good. It can then perform two different tasks. Either an immediate task, like attacking your enemies, or a contractoral task.
When dealing with only the immediate task how long time does it take t ask your Solar, or whatever nasty thing you called to attack or use any of its other abilities, like using spelllike abilities and such. Now AFAIR speaking is a free action, but I'm unsure of this type of speaking.
Another thing that I'm usure of is when the called creature acts. Is it like a summoned creature, which acts immediately upon ariving or do I have to roll initiative with the beast? Again this is pertaining to the immediate task.
