The following 6 month terms for the council have ended!

Trog


And Ateryu the Masked LLama has dropped out of his position, so there is a 3 month position free.

The following people can be voted for:

Ceika

Exachix

Flabbicus
Ilias
Renrik
Sophistemon
Supagoof
Trog


Voting – One vote per person, not per account. The voting thread can be started by anyone on the Council or the two people collecting the votes (election officials). All votes will be PM’d to the election officials. They will check for duplicate votes or one person voting multiple times.

How to Vote - One vote per player, please send a PM to Exachix and Supagoof (election officials) using one PM, copy and past Supagoof ; Exachix in the 'To' box. If you want to know when they read it, put a check mark in the box 'Request a read receipt for this message' in the misc options area below the message.

Results – The election officials will confirm and coordinate the final results before posting. The top three people receiving the most votes are on the council. If there is a tie a properly sided die will determine who is elected to the council.

I still say we should have the votes in a three top preferences.

Eg, on someones ballot
Random guy 1................... 3 votes
Not so random guy............ 2 votes
That guy you grew up with 1 vote

I for one can't think of who I would vote with only one vote, I think this system is easy to calculate, giving your first choice three votes, second choice two and third one.

This should make sure that if, say I wanted llama in, yet I wanted Indy in it as well, I could give llama three and indy two, as opposed to just one.

Four positions and I only vote for one person? What about the four that I'd like to see in that position? Makes more sense to me. :)

I'm willing to listen to reasonable ways to change the voting process, but it must be approved by the council that will be voted in. If you have a method that you think will work, post it in the Town Hall and it can be discussed. I think the two vote counters will also have some input on the matter. and of course, Any Townie may comment. It's an open process, not a closed/secret process around here.

The voting will remain as shown above in the first post by Exachix. anyone can come up with a new way to vote and post it in the Town Hall for consideration. It will be discussed by anyone interested and if more than one method is liked it would be voted on by the council to adopt it or remain the same.

For this election the voting method will remain the same.

Arha is a necromancer and I won't be awake at 1159L board time, well....maybe...I'm not sure yet. But Arha/Tehanu the character is off in Iames' Planar Realm with Lyrak, and I don't think they've showed their faces to the public yet. She's having to much fun with him.

But since # of avatars does not equal number of votes, then the final results are as follows for the four chairs on the council that are open.
