The priest
You are a worshiper of a god, not a cleric granted magic by this god, not a paladin sworn to your god, not a monk who studies in the name of a god, but a worshiper through and through. Your sheer devotion is what powers your magic, because it is not yours, you can not cast a single spell, you simply ask your god to.

Prayer
Instead of the spellcasting of the cleric you get all of your power directly from your god.
You have a pool of Favor points. You may ask your god to preform an action for you. If you have positive faith points your god may choose to spend a spell to awnser your prayer. When this happens the god casts a spell that is of your maximum spell level or lower, when they do this you lose Favor points equal to the spells level times 5 + the spell slot it is cast in times 10. If your god doesnt want to give you a spell, they don't have to
When you take your first level in priest you have 60 favor.
The following actions add favor
Converting a follower, 600 favor
spending a short rest praying, 30 favor
wearing your holy symbol openly, 15 favor per day
killing a minor enemy of your god, 150 favor (such as a cleric of gruumsh killing an elf.)
Killing a major enemy of your god, 300 favor (such as killing an elven cleric)
Preforming a ritual that your god is in charge of, 120
these actions subtract from your favor
Killing a member of your faith ; 1200
not wearing a symbol of your gods faith at all; 120 per day
your god may also deduct any amount of faith for any action
