Animal Care Rules?

Where would I find rules for caring for mounts? How much food and water does a horse or camel need? I know camels can two weeks before they suffer the ill effects of going without, but how much would they need per to day to not worry about it at all? How much water would a horse need in desert to avoid dehydration? I found rules for PC dehydration, but nothing for animals. I poked through PHB, DMG, MM, and Sandstorm am I missing something or is there another source for this?
