Okay, kind of a random rant, but...

Is anyone else bothered by these two class names? Too me it makes no sense.

A Warrior (the class) is a fighter, just some person who fights. A Warrior was always picked early in dodgeball. Good with a sword. Tough. Dependable.

A Fighter (the class) is a warrior. Fighters are professionals who wage war for a cause. That cause can be whatever, because their adventures, but they fight wars.

Idk. Am I crazy?

No, I pretty much have the same opinion. "Fighter" is a descendent from the "Fighting Man" of OD&D, and has stuck with us because shut up get off my lawn tradition that's why.

I've grown to accept the Warrior and Fighter classes being distinct. My roommate is of the opinion that the names of the two classes should be switched. I agree with him that a Warrior sounds more proficient/skilled than a Fighter, but I suppose tradition holds some weight.
