How to convert 4e monsters to 3.5?

One of the best things to come out of 4e were some of the monsters. So, how can I adapt them to the previous edition? Anything helps.

1. Reflavor. Find a monster that does what you want, call it a [cool 4e monster].

2. Homebrew. Go to the homebrew subforum and ask if a kind soul there could make you a monster.

Which bits are you trying to backport? If it's the better math and generally more accurate challenge assessment, give up now. The Math and in some cases general combat systems are two completely different things. If it's specific monsters, you'll probably be able to get better advice.
