Are there any good Cleric / Barbarian builds? Preferably one with the Strength and War domains?

Rage is not normally a combo with spellcasting, but it works fine with DMM Persist cheese. You only need 1 level of Cloistered Cleric and a couple of feats to get Persistent Enlarge Person going, and you can toss in Knowledge Devotion for free.

You might want to just run a champion of gwynharwyf from the book of exalted deeds. Adds a bunch of divine casting onto a barbarian, which is a neat thing, and gets you a lot of your desired flavor in an elegant fashion.

CoG works great, certainly.

But even Bbn2/ClericX (mix with your choice of PrC) works fine, as long as you focus on long-term buffs, utility and status removals. You rage during combat, you cast before and after.

Key feats: Power Attack, Extend/Persist, Divine Power, Extra Rage

Dragon Magazine 310 has the Rage Casting feat which allows you to cast free-action spells while raging. It requires Quicken Spell, Combat Casting, Rage/Frenzy, and 5 ranks in Concentration.

There may be a bit of an issue since this was before swift/immediate actions were implemented, however if you look at the WotC glossary (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/glossary&term=Glossary_dnd_swiftaction&alpha=) it says, "you can take a swift action any time you would normally be allowed to take a free action." So there is a good case for allowing swift/immediate action spells along with quickened spells (which errata has changed to swift).

Some good candidates from SpC are:

Close Wounds
Knight's Move (good to set up full attacks or possibly charges)
Delay Death (extra fun with Diehard)
Grace
Rhino's Rush (if you have the Wrath domain)

Then just throw on some Ordained Champion for swift action War domain spells and you've got a build.
