Acquired Templates

Upon seeing mention of the Dustform/Incarnate Construct loop again, I got thinking. Almost all "acquired" templates I've seen come with some sort of way to gain it. Whether this is described in a spell, class, or the template itself, it specifies how to gain it. Are there any acquired templates that don't specify how to gain them?

If there are, then you can always default to Savage Species to make any template an acquired template at the cost of XP and gold.

Titanic Creature from MM2 is acquired but you can only infer as much from the fluff text. The Template itself, being 3.0 doesn't say one way or the other.
