Does any of the material in Kobold Press' Sunken Empires clash mechanically with Creu

I recently picked up Cerulean Seas (Alluria Publishing), and I'm loving it so far. I have previously purchased Sunken Empires (Kobold Press), and I'm not mechanics-savvy enough to recognise problems at a glance.

Are there any major problems with using these two books together?

I know this is a super old post but as someone who also owns both the only notable thing I can think to take into account is movement rate, cerulean seas lets swimming creatures that can move on land do so at 75% of the swim speed (sea elf’s for example) and but in flavor this can be explained with muscle grouping
