Ive been looking through the new classes and find the swashbuckler very appealing. I'm a 3.5 player mostly so I'm kind of ignorant in the feats department. Scimitar seems to be a popular choice. Help ?

I think rapier is the way to go because of a new feat published in Advanced Class Origins called Fencing Grace:http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/fencing-grace-combat

If you go human, you can get this level one (get weapon focus and swashbucklers auto get finesse so its easy). Pump your dexterity as high as it can for maximum AC, attack and damage bonus. Other stuff: wanna do combat maneuvers? Agile Maneuvers lets you use dexterity for that instead of strength; good for disarms and feints. Combat Reflexes never hurts for more AoO and its a common feat tax. Critical Focus is a decent choice because crits are awesome and also regain panache for more deeds. Extra Panache feat isn't a terrible choice. Spring Attack increases you combat mobility by a ton.

Thats all I could think of right now, I hope it helps
