Hey playground!

So with the dual wield feat it says it lets you stove/pull out two weapons instead of one. My question is does this let me fire my heavy crossbow as an opener from stealth for sneak attack dmg, stove the crossbow and pull out a great axe for the remaining attacks(aiming at 12 fig/8 rog multiclassing)?

It says you can draw/put away two weapons when you could normally do it with one. You are allowed to draw one weapon as part of your action. So you have to draw both weapons at the same time.

So for your question, no, I don't think it would work like that.

Bah damn. :( It counts as a bonus action to draw or stove onc more time right?
And thanks for the answer. :)

Drop the crossbow (on the ground) and draw the Axe?

Agreed.

More generally, if the way you are trying to break the action economy is by switching weapons, I don't think it will be a problem at all.

Update.

Tie a rope to the crossbow. This way you can get it right back and don't leave it behind.
