So I am working on a conversion of Desert of Desolation and I have two questions at the moment.
1. Is there anything in 3.5 I can use for Chabang Men? These monsters are magical creatures that multiply if hit with Slashing damage. Any cutting blow that hits cuts clean through. Both pieces dissolve into mud and one round later each pile reforms as an exact duplicate of the original. If struck by a crushing weapon the monster dissolves into one mud puddle only to reform one round later. They can be pinned to walls/floors/surfaces with piercing weapons. I have the feeling this will be a DM fiat critter, but if I can find something similar that already exists......
2. There is an NPC called Muntafik who has removed his own heart and stuck it in a jar. He cannot be damaged or killed by spells or blows and has 10 levels of Magic-User. Once the jar containing is broken his heart will cease to beat and he will die. Is there any RAW way to duplicate this other than Walker in the Waste?
