I was thinking back to 331 and Roy is on the list. Belkar just sent him up alone, jumping over the wall, to try to take on Xycon who is flying above the city atop an undead dragon. The oracle said he gets to 'cause' the death of one of the people on the list. Not that he gets to kill them himself. I'd say sending Roy up there, even if he manages to take down the dragon and Xycon the fall alone might kill him, is pretty good for a 'cause'.

I agree it's plausible. We know that Xykon will not get this gate so destroying the dragon and being killed in th fight is quite plausible for Roy and could fulfill the prophecy.

I'm still guessing that
it's "Miko's stupid horse" (i.e. whatever mundane horse she ends up riding after escaping from prison). Belkar would be so ticked when he realizes that he's wasted the promised kill....

Miko, Roy, Miko's warhorse, Vaarsuvius or the kobold.

Well, the kobold is now out of the question,
so is Miko's warhorse (remember the NO seen where he did his part in humor)
Now that leaves three people.
