Does anyone know if a website like that exists? Like fanfiction.net, but for original fiction? If it's just sci-fi and fantasy (because who cares for anything else?) that would also be great.

A quick google found me Fictionpress (https://www.fictionpress.com/).

Hug, never heard of that before.

There home page is just as ugly and it doesn't seem to have story tags (which would be soo useful), but there's certainly a lot of activity there. At least a hundred thousand entries.

If you're looking for fanfiction.net but for original fiction, fictionpress is literally that. It spun off from fanfiction.net some years ago.

webfictionguide.com/

That's another one. The few series I checked out were quite long, book-length or longer.

Worm and Pact by Wildbow are very long, but good. I found Worm through this site and Pact has a discussion thread. The guys and gals actively following might know more good stuff.

There's http://qntm.org/fiction. I'm pretty sure this is all by one author, and it's all Sci Fi, although it's mostly short stories, with a few exceptions. I highly recommend Fine Structure.

That was amazing. Thanks for the suggestion.
