I'm probably going to play a Warder in my new campaign, so I need some info on how maneuvers work.
Strikes: Do they take the place of a single attack, or the whole attack action?
Counters: Do I have to ready an action to use them?

Strikes are a standard action or full-round action that involves an attack or full-round attack.
Counters are usable as long as you're capable of peforming Immediate Actions. No need to ready an action.

So if I'm making a full attack, if I use a standard action strike does it just replace a single of my attacks?

You can't combine standard actions with full-round actions (in this case full-attack actions). A standard action strike is exactly what it means - a standard action.
Think about the Strikes not as attacks, but as abilities that you make an attack as a part of.
