View Full Version : Looking for a tiamat miniature

Hello ladies, gentlemen and variations thereupon.

I am looking for a miniature for tiamat. One that is actually cool and preferably one that I can paint myself. But all that I can find is this ugly icon of the realms version of her. Can anyone help me in my search?

There is a aspect of Tiamat mini, but it may not be what you are looking for.

If not, maybe this that you could repaint to your satisfaction: www.minis2.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=001&Product_Code=top1745

That's all I could find for you, I saw another but it mentioned being a limited edition Ral Partha so you might not be able to get it.

Yes! In my last campaign I committed to a Tiamat end game without a mini. I couldn't find a satisfying one. Until I lucked out and happened upon a certain incense burner at Walmart. For the low, low price of just $10, this became my Tiamat: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Elegant-Expressions-5-Headed-Smoke-Breathing-Dragon-Incense-Burner/16781971

Here she is all painted. Ignore the festive hats. Sorry for the low quality photo.

There's also a Tiamat figure coming out for the D&D Attack Wing miniatures game (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/165518/dungeons-dragons-attack-wing-tiamat-premium-figure) next year. This one's prepainted, though I suppose you could always strip it and repaint it yourself if you were ambitious enough.

As people have said, D&D Miniatures has an aspect of Tiamat.

There was a limited edition Ral Partha model of Takhisis which would work beautifully but is probably very expensive.

There was a Tiamat action figure made as a tie in to the D&D cartoon show:

And then Grenadier miniatures produces a spectral dragon (Tiamat expy):
