If you somehow manage to inflict yourself with confusion, do you attack yourself on a roll of 1-10, and run away from yourself on a roll of 51-70? Or do you just babble incoherently.

Not sure, but as a DM I would just re-roll the outcomes involving the caster.

01-10 you would clearly attack yourself. "attack the caster" you're the caster, not exactly any wiggle room there.

the spell specifes if you can't undertake the specified action you babble, so since you can't run away from yourself, you'd babble on a result of 51-70
