This (http://dndtools.eu/feats/complete-arcane--55/extra-slot--1036/) is what you're looking for.

A dip into sandshaper grants necromancy and conjuration. If you also have the heighten spell feat you get Transmutation, Abjuration, and enchantment (3rd level spells heightened to 4th level). This leaves all your normal spells known open for your choice of magic.

If you don't want to loose a spellcaster level you can take heighten and use a 3rd level spell to fill in the 5th school.

I, personally, would dip sandshaper for at least 1 level, up to 8. The last two levels are not worth it unless you want to pick up the resurrection ability. Then it's just a matter of picking three non-conjuration / non-necromancy spells for your 4th level spells known.

You can use spell higher level than 5 to get the prereqs for archmage. So by Sorc 14 (when you get access to level 7 spells) if each spell of 5th level or higher is of a different school, you'd have 6 schools (from 3 level5, 2 level6, and 1 level7).

Alternatively, i'd use one of the Bloodline feats from Dragon Compendium, they add alot to a character and provide some neat background/roleplaying options.

This, and even if it WAS strictly 5th-level spells, you can learn a 5th-level spell in place of one of your 6th-level spells just fine. No need to waste any feats.
