I was just wondering what spells or if any of you still use the 3.0 version of spells? For whatever reason? I think some of the spells have been nerfed to the point of no use, and therefore some spells have at our table more or less lost its use.
I might not be alone with this and so I thought I would ask?

We use 3.0 haste, harm (will half added), heal, and the ability score enhancers (like bear's endurance). It's worked out pretty well for the most part.

Any of them that haven't been updated and I use the sandstorm version of flashflood. Other than that I don't know of any I default to the earlier versions but I'm willing to make judgement calls as I go.

The Book of Vile Darkness is 3.0, and those Corrupt spells are just delicious.

3.0 Heal and Harm are both amazing.

I mean, I dunno if this counts, but every spell I use is a 3.0 spell. That's just because I only play 3.0, though.

Any that haven't been updated. Otherwise, I try and stick to the 3.5, because that stuff was made after the devs had a bit more experience with a system (note the highest concentration of broken stuff was things that weren't changed from back when they had less experience).

I'm a fan of feline distraction (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/re/20030303a). It's a hot mess, but if you can actually get it to work it's awesome.
