[IC] The First Seven: Exemplar

[Soliloquy]

The world had changed. Humans with special abilities were common knowledge, and not uncommon themselves. They were now called "Sevens" the name was officially given to them by the government, although you aren't sure where it came from. The government seemed to be handling the situation well, being fair to both sides. You, however, have reason to believe that it isn't so simple as that. You are Exemplar, and you are the first seven.

[Grim ranger]

The world has become so much more complicated ever since he became who he is now.

Well, that is what the man nowadays known as Exemplar thinks anyhow as he is sitting in small burger joint, looking out of the window at the Pentagon quite a distance away. The world has changed with the emergence of superpowered people, and things are only likely about to get crazier by the day. What little he can remember from days before becoming who he is now indicates that even the very first events were very nearly world-shaking, and it should not be long now before factions outside shadowy government organizations would start to catch superhumans to fill their ranks. Thus, he will have to do something before all the new anti-superpower equipment the military is no doubt coming up with will get installed. And that is exactly why he is sitting in burger joint, his usually quite attention-catching form hidden away under an illusion of a tired car mechanic.

Pentagon is most likely the place where the records of the incident concerning him and his old team have been stored, but he doubts that he will be allowed access to those... Especially so as the government is, in the end, responsible for his creation in the first place, and one can assume they do not like his plans of striking out on his own. Not that he expects something like this to be a cakewalk, but with his ever-changing powers he is quite sure he has a decent chance.

Paying for his burger and walking out of the place, Exemplar looks towards the highways in the distance that run quite close to the Pentagon building itself, and reaches into his powers. Hopefully they can give him a combination suited for covering the distance quickly and to avoid any observation.
