Attention all you zombies!
I'm co-opting this thread to sing y'all a little song. Not about gods or titans or kings, but about people. Because the Great Wheel belongs to us, not some Big Guys sitting on thrones they made outta the corpses of the last Big Guys.
I've never liked all that "art" or "banner" stuff, so have some tunes instead. Careful! Your boss might not like some of them. And all you epileptics might want to be careful.
(My apologies. It was the 80s.)

The Eikonoklastes
Hey guv, pick a card, any card. (http://www.sleepbot.com/morgan/cgi/morgpick.cgi)
A long time ago, the biggest, meanest guys around swam around in some kinda primordial Kaos (or some such nonsense). Then some of the little guys they made decided to gut them one morning and make a nice house out of their rotting corpses - we call that house "the Great Wheel", for you droogs in the back that haven't been following along. And then we showed up, and guess what? The little guys had become the Big Guys, and we were all back to Square One.
I think we should campaign for a little fairness around this house, don't you?

The Rebels' Mythos: An Eikonoklastes' power lies in one or more "Mythos", building blocks built from their incipient legend, the story of their triumph over stale society. While these Mythos vary, they all share a few traits. They are always Extraordinary abilities, and when they reference a DC for an saving throw, that DC is always calculated as (10 + 1/2 class level + Charisma modifier). When a Mythos references a "level" that is not clearly defined in some other way, such as "character level", it refers to "class level" as in the number of levels one has in the Eikonoklastes class. When a Mythos references "allies", it specifically does not refer to the Eikonoklastes using it (unless it specifically does). When a Mythos grants a feat as a bonus feat, it is regardless of whether the character meets the prerequisites for that feat (unless otherwise stated), and if the character already possesses that feat (in some permanent fashion - via the normal allotment gained by leveling up, or through another Mythos, and so on, but not those gained temporarily, such as via a "Heroics" spell), they must replace the prior instance of that feat with another feat that they qualify for.
Every Mythos (unless stated otherwise) has a Tier ranging from 1 to 4; these Tiers are commonly referred to as 'Exceptional', 'Fantastic', 'Legendary', and 'Exalted' (though we will accept One, Two, Red, and Blue instead.) An Exceptional Mythos is simply the starting cries of a rabble-rouser; Fantastic Mythos begin to the break the ties of cruel reality to mock the better angels of our nature. Once Legendary Mythos are achieved, the Eikonoklast is a walking refutation of stability and stagnation; once Exalted Mythos are in their grasp, they tweak the noses of the gods themselves.
Some Mythos have Advanced and Basic Manifestations in addition to their normal effects; upon learning a Mythos, an Eikonoklast also learns one of its Basic Manifestations for free. One level later, they learn one of the Advanced Manifestations for free.
Mythos Known: Eikonoklastes of 1st level begins with two Exceptional Mythos, and automatically learns new Mythos as given on the table above, in that column right there. You see it? Good.
If they multiclassed into Eikonoklastes at some later point (so that their first level of Eikonoklastes is not their first level in a PC class), they only get one Exceptional Mythos instead of two.
Like most characters who learn Mythos, an Eikonoklast may learn additional Mythos up and beyond the ones they learn through levels; they may do so by defacing Icons in a public manner. Maybe they stand up in the middle of a service and smash the altar, perhaps they arrange a mass book-burning of sacred books in front of a temple of Boccob. Maybe the celebrants simply enter their chapel to find their altar gone and their Cleric in its place, naked and drunk. Whatever they do, it must be obvious and shocking; burning a holy symbol of Pelor in front of the worshippers of Hextor would cause no moral outrage. In exchange for this "service", they gain Mythos points equal to the gold piece value of the Icons they defaced; for these purposes, a living creature has a gold piece value equal to 500gp times their hit dice.
By spending 1,000 Mythos Points, and 250xp, an Eikonoklast may learn an Exceptional Mythos. A Fantastic Mythos requires 5,000 Mythos Points and 500xp. A Legendary Mythos takes 10,000 Mythos Points, and 1,000xp. And an Exalted Mythos takes 20,000 Mythos Points and 2,000xp.
For half the listed price for a given Tier, Eikonoklastes may learn a Basic or Advanced manifestation of a Mythos they already know of that Tier.
Learning more Mythos than their levels say they can (Whatever levels, you can't tell me what to do, you're not my DAD!) takes some dedication to rabble-rousing and rebellion. An Eikonoklast when more than half their ECL is made up of Eikonoclastes class levels.
Iconoclastic Excellency (Ex): As given on their class table, an Eikonoklast gains a certain number of abilities known as "Excellencies". These tend to be more general, generic, and passive than a Mythos, and are drawn from their own separate list, unsegregated by Tiers (and by other silly boundaries). Like a Mythos, Eikonoklastes may learn more Excellencies above their legally mandated limit. Each one costs 1,000 Mythos Points and 100xp, plus an additional 1,000 Mythos Points and 100xp for each time a new Excellency is innovated beyond the first. (So, 2,000mp and 200xp for the second, 3,000mp and 300xp for the third, etc.)
Koan of Opposition (Ex): It is the iconoclast's place to destroy inertia, to break the stale and regimented progression of society in a display of gorgeous rebellion and abhorrent violence. It's their job to freak the normals, after all.
Some Eikonoclastes features refer to Icons; by default, Icons are the official symbols of an established and active religion, holy (or unholy) objects that symbolize that religion to the viewer. Whether they are the sacred books of Boccob, the Holy Avenger of a Paladin, or the shrine maidens of some local god of purity, Icons are vital representations of faith to their adherents, a sign that everything is alright in the world. While your average worshippers or the pews in a temple would not count, a priest or altar would.
Other features refer to 'defaced' Icons; these are Icons that have been ruined. This is not to say that they are destroyed, merely that they are rendered unsuitable to be a representation of their faith. Boccob's books are filled with crude drawings, the Holy Avenger is melted down and used to make coins, and the shrine maidens are introduced to liquor and opium.
Some other Mythos and Excellencies are marked as [Lies]; instead of having a save, they automatically affect any creature within range who does not succeed on a Sense Motive check with a DC of [5 + Eikonoklastes' Bluff ranks + Class Level + Charisma modifier]. [Lie] Excellencies and Mythos are considered to be lies for the purposes of spells and other effects, including modifying the DC of the Sense Motive check due to the believability of the lie.
The Eikonoklast gains Divine DenialEoE as a bonus feat. If the DM decrees that they cannot use this feat due to not meeting the prerequisites, permission is given to laugh in their face and use it anyway. In addition, as long as they are openly wearing or holding an obviously defaced Icon, they may add their Charisma bonus to their AC as a Perfection bonus.
At 3rd level, the Eikonoklast may apply the benefits of Divine Denial to any Spells, Spell-Like Abilities, and Supernatural Abilities used by sentient Icons. They also add their Charisma bonus to their attack rolls as a Perfection bonus against anyone who is currently receiving a Sacred or Profane bonus to AC or Saves.
At 5th level, the Eikonoklast may apply Divine Denial to any applicable effect that would affect them, rather than just those effects that target them. Their laughter rejects holy words and blasphemies alike.
At 7th level, as long as they are openly wearing or carrying an obviously defaced Icon, the Eikonoklast may add their Charisma modifier to their saves against any effect that Divine Denial would apply to, and gain the benefits of Evasion and Mettle against such effects.
it is important to give your ancestors due reverence give unto the kings their due and to the GODS their chiminage wear chains like an office and manacles as jewelry
