Is there any spell you could combine with silent image to make a magic item that produces a holographic interface? Like a spell that detects moment or..... something....

Well, with the release of the Technology Guide, there are now actual Holograms that can be interacted with.

Silent Image + Detect Thoughts + multiple command words?

Those are just illusions though, they don't detect anything.

Thought manipulated holograms could work.

That's where the Motion Trackers come in. Given that this is getting into the area of custom item creation, one could easily argue that through combining a Motion Tracker with a Hologram Generator you could establish such a system. Especially with a Prismatic Hologram.

Magic Mouth can react to any sort of trigger, probably including your pulling an illusionary lever. Glyphs of warding might work too. You could probably build a magic trap which is triggered in this way, but that's one short step from the Tippyverse.

This is more or less the point behind programmed image. (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/p/programmed-image)

Magic Mouth could work, and if I get bards to do it it'll be really cheap.

Programmed image is too high a level to really be common place so I was steering clear of 6th level spells.
