Random Dungeons!

Now that's interesting. Even if it isn't used as a pure random generator it could certainly speed up dungeon design.

Thank goodness! When I'm running out of steam on dungeon design, it's usually because I can't think of purposes for necessary rooms. These charts are fantastic. Granted, at this point I have a slew of such resources, but I'm glad these are in the DMG.

Speaking of which, does anyone have a decent 5e dungeon generator? I've been able to adapt the ones over at donjon (donjon.bin.sh) for 3.5 (http://donjon.bin.sh/adnd/dungeon/), 4e (http://donjon.bin.sh/4e/dungeon/), Pathfinder (http://donjon.bin.sh/pathfinder/dungeon/), M20 (http://donjon.bin.sh/m20/dungeon/), generic d20 systems (http://donjon.bin.sh/d20/dungeon/), and generic fantasy (http://donjon.bin.sh/fantasy/dungeon/), but I'd rather have one that doesn't require porting over to other systems.

I do not have a dungeon generator, unfortunately. Two things though:

1. Is that a Fire Emblem character for your avatar? I'm trying to beat Fire Emblem: Awekening now.

2. It's really awesome of you to post the links to your work for other folks.

Central Casting: Dungeons was a good any-system book from back in the day, copies can still be found for under $20 on Amazon and elsewhere.

I love random dungeon generators. I have fond memories of a 'summoner's tower' that had portals all over the multiverse that was run entirely out of a random dungeon generator and encounter tables.

Yes, yes it is. How is Awakening going?

Oh, those aren't mine! They're from another user over at Cartographer's Guild (www.cartographersguild.com), a cartography forum. He goes by the handle drow.

Yeah, that image is from Radiant Dawn. The game before it is Path of Radiance.
