what do you mean. His eyes seem just fine.

If youre referring to panel #9 it's because he's shown from the back

It just a bad angle. Still looks like he missing his eyes.

He's facing the other way.

And it's not the only occasion where he's shown that way, either. Of course, one can query why his teeth are still visible from the back when the eye sockets aren't, but the only answer to that is "Because that's how Rich's style works".

The same reason that your face is entirely covered by hair, and your legs bend forward at the knee.

The cloak is before the teeth you see. That totally makes it clear Xykon looks to the right (towards the enemies and the wall), so you see his back, so no eyes at the back of his skull.

He's looking at Haley, to be more precise. Notice he's casting something at her in that same panel.

His teeth probably appear because you should be able to see a skull's teeth from behind...

That's not really the ONLY answer. In reality, the teeth would be partially obscured by the vertebrae, but they'd still be visible from certain angles.

No it doens't. It looks like he's looking towards the wall, away from us.

He has teeth that go all the way around his skull. Its a special feature for liches.
